So, I received a letter today asking for a copy of my Marketplace Form 8962. I know this is new this year, but has anyone ever had the IRS ask for additional documents of any kind? I was accepted long ago – 1/12 and just received the notice. My blood ran COLD when I saw buried in the first page that I will receive an update 6 to 8 weeks after my response to the letter.
I did immediately fax over what was requested. Twice accidentally. Any positive experience would help me feel much better. Thank you in advance!

I rec’d lter on 7/22/2015 asking for missing info faxed back 7/24/2015 — per letter it’s been 8 wks tried calling number listed on letter but keeps saying please try again later — and this is for 2013 refund– in which they issued to someone who stole my ID in Miami– so I guess my only recourse is since they can or will not assist me — I will stop paying federal taxes—-
