Filed 1/15 still pending both fed and State. So frustrating 🤦♀️ I’m getting worried. TT might have not sent it 😬

I would call them TT. HR block is doing the same. I filed 1/9 with them and HR block is telling me the return is on hold in the system.

I filed on 2/1 and it’s still saying pending on TT. No info on the irs site. Usually, it’s accepted right away.

I filed turbo tax and was accepted almost instantaneously. I received email confirmation 3 mins after hitting submit. You better call em up and see what the hold up is or you might not get your refund until aug or sept

Filed 1/31/2020 my return still says “pending”. Last year, i filed with Jackson Hewitt and was accpeted immed by the IRS. I am not sure what is going on with Turbo Tax this year. I filed with them in 2017 and i have never experienced a “pending” issue. Not sure if this has anything to do with EIC and ACTC.

I filed with TT, accepted 1/23, got advance 1/24.
WMR still states that it’s processing. No DDD. -

Check WMR, TT still says pending but WMR says received. Think TT is just behind with updates

I filed on 1/26/20 at 12:15am CST. Today at 1:28pm I received a text saying great news, my federal return was accepted. My sister filed a few hours earlier than I did on 1/25/20 and she has not been accepted, still pending. According to TT her return was sent over today to the IRS at 11:32am CST. This year is both of our first time filing TT.

I filed 1/17 and was just accepted a couple hours or so ago. I still said pending on TT until about 20 minutes ago. I finally received my email from TT that said I was accepted.
Now to wait for the PATH message. -

I just checked the efile status on TurboTax and it was received by the IRS today at 12:18PM. Still waiting on acceptance. Filed 1/17/20 with both credits. I’m aware that I won’t see a refund till after the 18th, but the advance would be nice.
Still hasn’t been received by Ohio at this time.

Filed 1/17. This morning see that it’s been transmitted but still not accepted. When I’ve not been accepted early I’ve always been accepted at least on day 1 of the IRS being open. Hoping the same happens this year. If not I will be calling TT tomorrow.

Completed 1/24 with TT. Turbotax hasn’t transmitted yet. My return transmission is still at pending/let alone the acceptance from the IRS. Prior years when I’ve filed a few days early, it would show my transmission time on opening day early in the morning. I’m still waiting on them to transmit the returns.
I think I’ll just wait next year to do them on opening day. I now have 2 family members that did them today, both transmitted immediately and 1 has already got a response it’s been accepted.

Filed 1/17 still pending this has never taken this long even on OPENING DAY. I think turbo tax is or was having transmitting issues and are just covering it up my transmitted date now shows today which holds my theory true that turbo tax never released my returns to the irs when I filed so of course I wouldn’t make test batches if my return is being held. This is my last year with them

This makes me wonder if the pending turbo refunds are stuck somewhere.

I completed mine on 1/24 with turbotax and although the IRS is accepting today mine are still at pending with TT. My brother filed with TT at 6 this morning and his was transmitted immediately and is processing with the IRS!

I was told today they already sent it, but on my homepage it says TT will hold until 1/29 when IRS opens which is the wrong day! Hoping they send it over tomorrow

I think the test batch that the IRS did have a lot of people confused….. not everybody is included in the test batch especially if you are claiming dependents and the IRS does not open until tomorrow to start accepting everyone else’s return…… so we have another 3 to 4 weeks on our hands…..wouldn’t worry too much

I filed my husbands on weds and he got a DDD if 1/29 so they are taking them and also he’s not claiming the kids

Why can’t people read and scroll by if a question or comment doesn’t apply to them?!
I’m an early filer & always get accepted in the test batch but not this year. I was nervous myself but tomorrow’s right around the corner. Hope to see acceptance by the end of the day.

Filed 1/17 still pending with Turbo Tax they said when I called our tax returns are being securely held until Monday 1/27 when the IRS starts accepting returns. This is the first out of 4 years I wasn’t accepted prior to opening day which is strange because I normally make the test batch. I think due to their ongoing class action lawsuit they are trying to be more careful with the handling of returns. I don’t mind waiting but this is a inconvenience for those who are waiting for the tax advance they were approved for seeing as though you cannot get it until accepted by the IRS.

You’re probably fine.
The IRS doesn’t officially open for business until the 27th which is Monday.
The test batches that are accepted and processed prior to that date is pretty much luck of the draw.
I do mine early every year and this is the first time I have ever had them processed and gotten a direct deposit date (29th of January) prior to the official opening.
I got lucky and was in the test batches, most people will not be.

I filed the 17th but not expecting them to process til the 27th. I think the confusion is there are posts from others that theirs were already accepted so some who filed early are wondering why they were not. Monday is almost here. :)
