Another possible way to check for DDD

So I’m one of the the many who can’t check their transcripts. WMR is not updating until 330 and I’ve been on this path line for a longggg time (1/27). My way works if you have an offset. Call the offset line (8003043107) and they will tell you if you 1)have an offset pending 2) how much was applied to the offset 3)the date it was/will be applied.

I was able to find out my DDD OF 2/26! Finally because I was getting SUPER worried as I had A lot of changes with my taxes this year. And I didn’t know if that would have red flagged me.

Thank u for responding. My transcripts updated friday morning i called friday at 5pm.
Which when i called 2 weeks ago the automatic system i swear said i could be or will be offset and it was from doe. But like i said i went into default in jan 2020. So i never received a letter. So my transcripts updated and i called TOPs after my transcripts had updated. So was wondering if the auto system says rhat . Thanks again for answering

@Tangie when did you call? It updated after the transcripts updated. I called twice before and the same thing happens to me. It wasn’t until this last time I called (after the update yesterday) That I got a different response.

Did u speak to someone or was it the automatic system? I can see my transcripts i have a ddd of 2/26/20. But i called TOPS and it said i had 1 debt and gave me the doe phone number. But no amount and didnt say paid.

If they tell u that money has been/will be taken on a specific date then u know u r approved and that same date is ur refund date

It’s when u owe money to your state tax, child support or student loans and they take it out ur refund. I believe theres more places u can owe to that they will offset ur money for but I jus know of those 3 for sure. 800 304 3107 call to check ur name.
