Amex serve card pathers!

So I have been on this website following this forum for the past close to 10 years and now I’m finally going to do my own post. first-year receiving funds on Amex serve card anyone with previous experience on when they deposit would be very helpful.

Sorry should of clarified lol I received my refund on 2/24 between 11am and 5pm forgot it was the 25th now hope everyone else with a serve card got theirs yesterday too

Received mine on my serve card here in Tennessee today between 11am and 5pm filed 1/23 accepted 1/24 ddd of 2/26 pather both credits thru Jackson Hewitt thru republic bank to my amex serve card get it 2 days early every yr for the past 6 or 7 yrs which is why I stick with jh and the serve card every yr

I called republic bank and pushed 1 for federal it says no refund has been received I pushed #2 before the automated line stopped talking and it said my fees were paid. On the republic website it doesn’t show my fees were paid but I now have a drop down that states it’s going to a prepaid card which wasn’t there an hour ago

Well I have ddd of 2/26. I don’t know what the hold up is with my serve card. But I’m aggravated. I’ve always gotten it 2 days before. Last year I got it around 12pm (Eastern time) I live in Pennsylvania. I don’t what is going on this year.

I am not sure what is holding up the process. I am getting the run around. “Call the irs” “call the bank” blah blah blah. Who can explain this no sense to me?

Republic updated for me last night, just after 10pm EST. Not on Serve card yet but I believe it should be any time now.

Fyi ,

Republic bank recieved state refund during weekend 01/31 . Posted it to my republic account monday morning 2/3
Got actual dd on 2/3 at 4:38 pm with Chime

As long as you don’t need customer care then the card is fairly good, accept cannot get cash back anymore on it at Walmart register when paying etc… they blocked that and is double fee to get cash at atm each time, $6.50 fee a pop. $3 for serve and $2.50-4 For atm fee there. Good luck

I’ll tell you another thing is their customer care really sucks even if you can finally get a live person!! Takes forever to get a live person and mostly cannot understand them, sorry I can’t, and they take their $5 monthly fee regardless if you get the $500 or more direct deposited that month or month before it is really. That’s supposed to waive that $5 monthly fee. Even then they claim it was fee for not getting the at least $500 for previous month

No it never shows pending deposit, that’s really only thing good about serve card is as soon as they get deposit info they pretty much go ahead and release it to your card then. That’s why I get my payrolls 2 days early each time. A lot of time same thing with tax refund, they are usually pretty good about getting your refund on your card quick!

Well usually it will hit republic and the next day it’s on serve and then you get a notification but with it not being on republic yet I am doubtful of early deposits this year especially since not only was my federal sent Friday but my state as well and still nothing

Never seen it pending I always just get a notice that its posted and believe me i have looked for pending tax deposits in past years and never seen one.

It usually takes 24 hours to go between republic and serve so I think the email jh sent was to tell us sorry for the false advertisement but it won’t be two days early this year

For those with fees being taken out through Republic..all accounts settled (received the money) yesterday. I was told amex serve will most likely see deposits Monday or Tuesday. If you have fees being taken out itll show first in Republic Bank. https://www.republicrefund.com/ and select taxpayer and input your info just like you would on IRS WMR

i’ve used amex serve card for years and always get my dd 1-2 earlier than expected also using it this year with the same ddd of 2/26 so we’re good !

Last year it came on sunday night and my ddd was for the coming wendsday. I had no fees to pay because i used a freetaxusa with my serve card(the green one)
