Amended return H&R Block f'ed up my return

Seriously so mad right now, called the irs today to see what was going on because I filed back on 1/25, haven’t had any bars this whole time after the 27th. Ordered transcripts on the 17th of feb. I think. cycle code 20160705

Called today and they told me the error was that my tax preparer put my witholding under
“estimated tax payments” and not under my withholding where it should have been, apparently she didn’t know the correct line to place it…

SO they told me to file an amended tax return (which can take 12 weeks or more)
seriously such bullshit

I called to schedule an appointment with an enrolled agent and master tax preparer
and called hr block to complain about all this and to get my $318 in prep fees waived.

everything is taken care as of now, I just wish this wouldn’t take until june.
ive got a baby on the way and could really use this money….

I filed mine and my fiance and mailed at the same time. 1040X sent 02/22/16 WMAR shows received on 02/26/2016 for both. 03/25/16 adjustment stage for my fiance none adjustment for mine. Check received 03/26/16 for my fiance. In this case, both have been filed and received by IRS with the same date. No clue of whatsoever how IRS process amended retur

have you received any other information on your amended return? I know a few have received their refunds from amended returns in 4 weeks. Mine is showing received, but not adjusted at this time.
