      Hey Guys. I could use some help. I had an amended return from tax year 2018. YES 2018! Got audited for no reason. Drug on for two years. Tax advocate got involved finally and got my case under control. Case finally reviewed and closed with my original refund amount staying the same. My transcript for that year updated yesterday saying 846 Refund issued 3-19-21 and the amount. I assume because of the length of time I’m gonna get a paper check and not direct deposit like originally filed. Does anyone have an idea when they may issue check and how long it will take based on the transcript info. Any help would be great. Thanks.

          Amended returns are normally sent as checks. I had to amend my 2018 taxes and received a paper check
