Amended no 3rd stimulus called irs

So I amended my 2020 tax return before the 3 rd stimulus was approved and I was hoping that wasn’t going to mess up me getting the 3rd stimulus but I called the irs and they said that my 3rd stimulus has a hold on it until after my taxes is completed out of amended please tell me there wrong and someone who is in amended got there 3rd stimulus

Just came across this. I filed amended on 2/26 to claim the recovery rebate credit. Haven’t gotten 3rd stimulus and the amended return will probably take forever. I figure once it all clears up and I get the unemployment tax refund, I’m going to have a great summer! 😂

I hope so too! I amd my husband amended ours before they passed the 3rd stimulus….we have 8 kids which only 1 os adult…..we really need this money…..its been 3 weeks since we filed amended

Your stimulus should not be effected. I had a hold code on mine and I got my stimulus before my taxes got approved. You should be fine.
