      Hey everyone,

So I see a ton of you looking for updates and everything else. I filed on March 29th. Amended in June for Unemployment. Where’s My Amended shows complete.

Well I got ahold of someone this morning at the IRS (800-829-0582 ext 652) After two hours of hold time I finally got answers.

It was all accepted & Completed.

Sat in “Errors” for awhile and was straight told someone made a mistake when processing my injured spouse form on their end. Then the amended came in and they made ANOTHER mistake. Got it completed, sat in errors, she told me it was all COMPLETED yesterday and that I should see my return within the next week and to continue to watch my transcripts. She told me that if I do not see anything by next Friday to call back and find out why but to also watch my bank account.

I did get transfered from the first person who answered and it was another hour wait (did this yesterday too but the person who I was sent to hung up on me after putting me on hold to look into my account)

I called at 7:19AM Central Time.

      Hopefully this helps someone.

My amended return says it was processed and completed. It says I should have received the refund or a letter by Aug 5 and Ive not gotten anything. I amended because the unemployment break made eligible for the EIC. I also did not get July CTC but I did get August? This whole thing is very confusing! Any insight??

I just called this number beginning at 7am est and spoke with a lady who couldn’t tell me anything. We filed an amended return and accepted 3/30. She first said our 16weeks was up in December, and I said no that’s not right, got put on hold. Then she came back with your 16 weeks is up 7/21, to which I said yes and it’s now August… then she apologized and said due to covid they’re extremely behind and all I can do is wait. Couldn’t see my file, couldn’t give me any information.
