      Has anyone amended their tax this year

          I amended on 2/16, last Friday I got a 846 for 3/29. I bank with BOA so it probably will be exactly on the 29th before I see it.

            Yes, amended my granddaughters return on 2/24/2024 to include an additional W-2 received. E-filed the amended return and was accepted by IRS the same day. IRS site “Where’s my Amended Return” indicates it was received 02/24/2024 and could take up to 16 weeks to process. As of today, 03/26/2024 no additional updates. I’ve amended her returns in previous years also. Generally speaking, it did take 16 weeks to complete processing and receive additional refund amount.
