Can ANYONE translate the below?? Admins… where are you guys?

By account balance, there’s a negative sign by the amount.

I don’t think there are any “admins” here that can/will decifer your tax situation. While there are moderators, I believe it says on the home page that this is a peer to peer site where we all help each other based on what we know from our own experiences. @thicks is correct. I forgot which transcript it is, but one of them indicates that a negative or “minus” before the dollar amount is a credit to your account. Thus, your tax refund.

@patientviv41, do you see the line near the top of your transcript that says, “Any minus sign shown below signifies a credit amount”? I’ve gotten my refund, so my transcript account balance says $0, but I’m thinking if your shows a negative number, it means the IRS owes you a refund. If it’s not negative, it means you owe on your taxes.
