ACTC – “Not Eligible” & Refund “Still being Processed” connection

I’m a 2/12 filer, EITC, Lookback rule. No refund yet. I absolutely qualify for the ACTC, hands down. I was fortunate to receive all 3 stimulus checks in a timely manner.
I spoke to a live agent today on the ACTC side. Here’s what she said.
The ACTC portal says, “Pending, you will NOT receive…”
Your very straight-forward 1040 return was selected for random review. No action is needed on your part.
This freezes everything the IRS will refund me. Here’s where I get heartburn.
Not only have I waited 5 months for my tax return…now my ACTC is frozen, since they are backlogged? If there is a 4th stimulus, same result. It freezes my account.
This info is straight from a supervisor on the ACTC side, whom went into my account in detail.
More attention needs to be brought to this issue. This action is backwards logic, and against the very reason this bill was written.

we have not recived ctc payments because irs refund is on hold.

we were accepted in March 2021.

its very hard to patience.

Same here im under review for an mail audit for hoh,eitc,and ctc so until someone gets off their lazy ass down at IRS I wont be getting my refund or any actc payments this sucks it really does . I was sent a letter stating they’d be done reviewing my account by 9/21/2021 but here it is 10/14/2021 and all im heari g from them is a bunch of the same ol b.s about covid and be patient. I filed 2/14/21 accepted 2/16 so i’d say I’ve been very FUCKIN PATIENT

My Id portal says “Pending. You will not receive advance payments at this time.” I know I qualify, I received the letter a few mths ago saying so.
