I was able to see my account transcript today and it shows all 000’s, says No record of return and also says, “As of Feb 10th”? I usually file with EIC, but did not this year. I am a weekly, and until this year had my refund taken for student loans. I am in consolidation, so they will not be taken. I confirmed this with TOPS. I have a simple return, single, no dependents a nd made $28000. My refund is $1951. I filed through TaxSlayer. I filed eafrly, (Jan 10..accepted Jan 13th)>WMR shows one bar, topic 152. Is anyone alse in this boat and if so, do you know what it means? Thanks in advance.

So I was looking at my transcripts from the past 2 years. The processing date on one was February 25 and the other February 26. I do not have access to the account for those anymore so I am not sure if that was the refund date or when it was actually done processing. Sometimes the processed date was before the refund date and sometimes after.
Lovely IRS and their mind games lol

Filed/Accepted 1/29/20
10 days later bar disappeared and went to PATH MSG on 2/08/20
WMR updated on 2/16 no bars only msg “we’ve received your tax return and it is being processed”
I ordered my Account Transcript on the 2/01 and recieved them on 2/16 all good codes except the 846 one. Transcript reads As Of:02/24 -$xxxx and processing as of 2/24.. can anyone help with what this might mean? -
February 14, 2020 at 3:53 pm #4350293Sandra A
I filed on 2/7 accepted 2/7. Transcripts were N/A until today show refund cycle 20200705.
WMR – Not updated. I expect WMR will update overnight and show “REFUND APPROVED” tomorrow. 2/15. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Topic 152 should mean you’re getting a tax refund!
-
February 8, 2020 at 10:28 pm #4343609LolaR
@cbrooking77 having the “-“ in front of your numbers means your getting that amount back. I don’t get why they make it look like a negative, but it’s a good thing. When it doesn’t have that “-“ is when you should worry.
-
February 8, 2020 at 1:35 pm #4343287Renee Holland
Has anyone had to file form 8862 with there tax return and have only a 971 tax code on transcripts. Everything else is blank. I know the 971 is notice sent and was wondering if it would be something to do with the 8862 form. Any help would be appreciated.
-
February 8, 2020 at 1:20 pm #4343276
My transcripts says my refund amount as -$12345 What does the “-“ mean does that mean I’m not getting my refund why is there a “-“ in front of the amount

I’m in the exact same boat. Accepted 1/27, all N/A until yesterday and now it says as of 2/24 with all 0.00. The other two things say N/A and Wage says no return was filed…..Really hoping it at least goes through in the next week. If i’m a weekly, I hope something will update before next Sat…..

I’m hoping you can help me with this …
I filed 1/27, accepted 1/27
Up until this morning, my transcript said 0.00 with “as of Feb17”
Now it says 0.00 with “as of Feb 24”WMR has been showing the same one bar, 152 message since 1/28.
My last two years I got my refund on a Monday.
20190505 02-18-2019
20180405 02-12-2018Any idea why the only thing changed was the “as of” date?
Does this mean progress, or delay?
Any idea when my WMR will update? I’m guessing Saturday 2/16 but really hoping I’m wrong and it will update tomorrow.

February 5, 2020 at 4:27 pm #4339532Sarah
I think I’m in the same boat.
Submitted 1/23/20
Received on WMR 1/27/20
But nothing has changed since then.
My transcripts still say 0’s for everything and no cycle number or anything.
There’s an as of date of 2/17/20 -
February 4, 2020 at 1:31 pm #4338268Brittany
I filed and was accepted on 1/27/20, cycle 20200505
Transcript says 2/17 but im not sure what that means. There is no amount next to it. Everything else looks good . I am showing the path act still ? -
February 2, 2020 at 7:07 am #4336687Julie
Hey Everyone: This is Julie. I started the original post and was not planning on signing back in because the site has has several trolls the past few days, but I want to help, so I am going to tell you what I know. But, this site definitely needs moderators. Anyway, ok. I am kind of replying to everyone who has questions the past few days and I am only going to say what I actually know to be true, ok?? If you can see your account or record of account transcript, and it ends in an “05”, you are most likely a weeky, meaning that your refund is only processed one day a week, (Friday), and your refund will be on a Wednesday. There are “05’s” who are daily, BUT all weeklies end in an “05”. If you are a daily, (01,02,03,04), you can be processed any day and your refund will be on a Friday. This is a fact. If you look at last years cycle code,,,look at the last 2 digits and see when you received your deposit if you want to verify this,ok? I am a weekly, have been 4 years now because of student loan debt.
Now, as to my original post of 000, no record of return, and as of date. I was accepted the 13th in the early hub testing batch, but, as a weekly, my return was put back in ,(resequenced), as they only did 1 weekly test and 5 daily. The “as of” date showed feb 10th because that is when they believed my return would be finished processing. The 000 simply means that you are not finished processing yet. That is really what it means, so it is NOTHING to worry about. The N/A is same thing. Two of my transcripts showed N/A, (the two on top), UNTIL early Friday morning, , (2:22 a.m. CST to be exact),(as a weekly, this is when you will see the update). I then saw 2019 for all 4 transcripts. You want to pay the most attention to “account transcript” and “record of return” transcriot. These will show your codes, including cycle codes. So, once you see alll 4 showing 2019, you know that they have processed your return. The wage and income will show, “No record of return filed” until the places you have worked have submitted all of the information, which could take several months..until the end of July. So, pay no attention to the wage and income transcript. It has nothing tpo do with your refund. My refund is scheduled for Wednesday and my wage and income transcript shows “no tecord of return filed”, If you claim EIC or ACTC, you will not have a refund UNTIL after FEB 15th, NO MATTER what people on this site are saying. ONly those with CTC, NOT ACTC may receive theirs earlier. THis is long enough and I am trying to help, so if you need help to decipher your codes, I can help. Let’s say you are a 20200505, like me, and do not claim eic or actc, (not a pather), the 05 in the middle means the 5th week. So, start with January 1st and count 7 days , that is week 1…05 is the 5th week..(Jan 29-Feb 4), and the 05 at the end is the day. It starts Fri-01,Mon-02, Wed-03 Thur-04, Fri-05. So, Friday is the day that your return will be processed. This is why I was processed Friday morning. Saturday, your WMR will update. You will be able to see your codes on FRiday, (on your transcripts). They will change from 000. If anyone is still reading and has questions, please ask. I will NOT respond to trolls or rudeness. Thank you. -
February 1, 2020 at 3:58 pm #4336445
Mine is saying the same thing. Filed 1/27 showing all zeros on my account transcript, N/A for return transcript. What does this mean?
-
February 1, 2020 at 8:57 am #4336355inquiring
@ dgrundy847
Thank you! I thought I must be weekly because the last few years I’ve been an 05. Or maybe I’m a daily 05? Who knows? I was starting to sweat a little when it didn’t update today.
-
February 1, 2020 at 8:46 am #4336344
@inquiring
wages and income sometimes won’t update to as late as July. So no worries. Look to the right of where you can get your transcripts by year and it tells you what each section mean. -
February 1, 2020 at 8:42 am #4336337inquiring
Does anyone know what it means when W&I transcripts show “no record of return filed” but I have the acceptance message from TT and one bar on WMR with code 152? Filed on 1/22 and accepted on 1/23. CTC only
-
February 1, 2020 at 7:13 am #4336288Portia
Hey guys! So overnight my refund status on “where’s my refund” changed from showing the one bar to the PATH Act message. Any idea if this may mean I don’t have much longer? I’ve heard of quite a few PATHers receiving their refunds before the 15th this year

@ Julie I filed Jan 22 and was accepted on the 23rd I have EIC and ACTC. I can see my wage and income transcript and account transcript but both are pretty much blank but my record of account transcript and return transcript still says N/A. My last 3 cycle codes were 20170505, 20180505 and 20190503
-
January 31, 2020 at 11:27 pm #4336140Julie
@cookie: This is the Julie who started this post. There is someone with the same name, apparently who posted one message at 9:31. The fact that your account transcript is now showing is a good sign. Are you able to view the other 3 ? I think that the “as of ” date is showing the 17th because it is exactly 3 weeks after the 27th when the IRS opened. MIne also went from “as of” feb 10 to “as of” 17th, and my ddd is 2/5. I was accepted on Jan 13th as most people on this post, but they only did one weekly test batch, so we all got put back in, (resequenced). Can you tell me what your cycle code was the last few years?? Also, did you file EIC or ACTC??
-
January 31, 2020 at 9:31 pm #4336108Julie
Same thing for me as well. I’m not sure if it means they just haven’t processed it yet or something else.

@Bitcoin: Thank you sir for your kind remarks:). It has been fun, (defintely a LITTLE stressful at times), ;) but I am glad we helped each other through. Thank you @Brooke and congratulations!! We all made it through. Good vibes on the lottery win, as well!! It was so nice having company in the same boat and now, provided none of us become wealthy, we have more knowledge for next year! Good luck @kevin, also and to all of us weeklies that got their DDD!! Have a Super Year!!

January 31, 2020 at 7:01 pm #4336026Brooke
THANK YOU God, @Julie, @Bitcoin, @Kevin and the universe (lol as a whole. I got my DDD of 2/5 as well!!! My daughter has the flu and was at home sick today so had the doctor and all that fun stuff distracting me from this. What AMAZING news!
This was easier with the group than alone.:) Happy vibes and will see you guys next year. That is unless I have some fantastic luck and fall into a pile of money or even more unlikely….become so financially responsible and frugal that I don’t put myself through this again. Bye:)

Thank God and @bitcoin, @Julie, @Kevin and the universe as a whole! (LOL). What fantastic news!!! I’ve been at the doctor and taking care of my daughter all day…she has the flu so distracted from this but so happy now!!
You were the best support group ever. :) Happy vibes and will see you guys next year unless I fall into a pile of money or even more unlikely…become so frugal and financially responsible that I don’t put myself through this anymore.
Bye:)

Congrats!!! I know a lot of people on here keep stating that Pathers will not get the refunds til mid Feb. I don’t buy it. IRS compares and sees we have the same darn children claimed on or taxes…Also they see that we don’t owe anything from previous years and we are in good standing… why would we be delayed? Hope I get some good news myself soon.
-
January 31, 2020 at 4:33 pm #4335986PP
Sooooo… I looked at all my transcripts and dates and compared it to my bank statements….. this year I have a date of 2-17-20 next to the cycle code. For the last 6 years my refunds hits my account exactly 12 days before that specified date. So assuming if correct, I should get the refund 2/5. However, I did not select DD but the turbo tax advance. Don’t know if this will have any delays.
Hope this helps.

January 31, 2020 at 12:48 pm #4335889PP
@Portia
Looking at the how it came before the March 4th last year… I’m assuming this year the refund may come in before the 17th. However, I don’t have a DD yet I just have a code “766 credit to your acct” right now at the bottom.
-
January 31, 2020 at 12:44 pm #4335888PP
@Portia
I have the exact same codes 20200505 and date 2/17 as well as child tax credit.
Last year mine also stated March 4th and my refund was deposited on the 19th for state and 21 for federal.
Fingers crossed it comes the same as last year!
-
January 31, 2020 at 12:33 pm #4335882Portia
Hi. My cycle code is 20200505 and says my date is Feb 17. However, i have the child tax credit and dont usually get a refund until after feb 23rd? Is it possible to really receive my refund on the 17? Last year my date said March 4, but i received my refund Feb 27.
-
January 31, 2020 at 6:50 am #4335652
766 is actc or EIC
-
January 31, 2020 at 6:49 am #4335651
It is Path additional child tax credit, or earned income credit Won’t get an 846 because of these credits

My cycle code finally posted to my transcript: 20200505 but I’m not seeing code for refund, I have code 766. Any indication what that could mean?
-
January 31, 2020 at 6:41 am #4335624Megan
Have all of my transcripts finally and I’m a weekly. However instead of code 846, I’m seeing 766. Anyone know what this means? Filed 1/19; accepted 1/21
-
January 31, 2020 at 6:41 am #4335640
MY account transcript updated today 01/31 and now shows for 2019, but shows a date as Feb 17th which matches what TT says I should have my refund by. Says no return on file and no tax refund found. Filed 01/27, accepted 01/27

Hi all.
Me “three”!
2019 year showed up across the board. However the Account Transcript page (where the cycle code and transaction code goes) is still blank.

@Matt: You’re welcome. Good luck!!
-
January 31, 2020 at 4:23 am #4335612Julie
If your date ends in 05, you are probably a weekly. Fri-01 Mon-02 Tue-03 Wed-04 Thur-05 . Look for your cycle code date. 05 can be weekly or daily but it is the only weekly, if that makes sense. Weeklies are only processed once a week, so usually longer wait time for deposit. @Bitcoin knows….
-
January 31, 2020 at 4:20 am #4335611Matt
Ok, thank you
-
January 31, 2020 at 4:18 am #4335610Julie
@Matt…If you go to IRS.gov, you can create an account. If they can verify it is you, then you can view your transcripots online. If not, you can have them mailed!

One thing to note….was a 20160705, went to 2017060505, 20180505 and 20190505. I don’t know if that means I am moving away from being a weekly or not, but thought I would share that. Also, this is my first actual refund not taken by student loans in 4 years!!!!!! Thank God!! If anyone is in that boat, just consolidate on an income driven plan!!!! I finally get my $$ lol

Same cycle code @bitcoin 20200505
My Return Transcript and Record of Account Transcript are there now but my Account Transcript and Wages and Income have not changed. There are no codes for the refund being issued does that mean that we won’t get a DDD this Saturday or could those transcripts still update with the Refund Issued Code before that? -

Just hang tight guys…. the irs just opened two days ago
You have to give the systems some time to update
If you are on Path there should be no reason to dig into ddds right now… nobody is going to see any movement until mid February
Transcripts will prob update come February 1st
If you live in a non piggy back state then your state could come faster than your federal just like mine did last year… got my state a whole two weeks before my federal came

I’m thankful for you guys, especially @bitcoin and Julie.:) I’m not getting too upset because of the reassurance.

Hey @Monee, sure join us unlucky people!! haha:) Thank you for joining us! … Ok, I am starting to feel better after reading some things and looking at other posts. As @bitcoin mentioned, he did some digging and found out that the “as of” date is simply a date that shows when the irs believes your return will be done processing. As @Brooke mentioned, our “as of” dates the past few years are much later than the date we actually received our DD dates. So, that is good news, although the date can change, (as @bitcoin mentioned..it is a rolling date). Another post mentions that there were only 6 total test batches, (5 daily and one weekly). I am starting to believe that while we were accepted early, we all may be weeklies, (I have been an 05 the last 4 years), and they simply put our return back in line. 05’s can be daily or weekly, but they are the only # that can be a weekly. I think they accepted more than they actually processed. So, I really am starting to believe that we will see some activity on Friday, as @bitcoin mentioned. As lond as you have the bar and the 152, (if you did DD), you are good so far and they simply have not processed us yet. Please keep this post updated with any news! I will do the same:) Good Luck Everyone!

Hey yal! Is it ok if I join? I filed with freetaxusa and I was accepted on Jan 13th. Currently I only have 0’s and my filing status on my account transcript with the feb 10th date. I’m a weekly so all I can do is pray I update on Friday. It’s making me a little nervous
-
January 28, 2020 at 4:10 pm #4333892
the as of date at first is exactly 21 days away from when the IRS accepted your return aka their maximum normal processing time D
-
January 28, 2020 at 11:06 am #4333666Brooke
I’ve been on received on WMR for 14 days today as well. I worry too but I think we are just a little unlucky…probably not anything wrong.
-
January 28, 2020 at 10:04 am #4333619
my transcripts should have been updated today per what I have been reading. I have checked twice and nothing still the same n/a no tax return filed. today marks 15 days sitting on received WMR.i am starting to think something is wrong).
-
January 28, 2020 at 9:56 am #4333615Brooke
I did not see the other replies below til I had written my last one…weeklies are Transcripts on Friday, WMR Saturday and DDD are always going to be the following Monday and Wednesday?
-
January 28, 2020 at 9:53 am #4333613Brooke
Hey guys…no change at all on WMR or Transcripts. Was looking at all of the “As Of” dates on my returns and agree with @Julie…that is all over the place and tells you nothing.
My 2017 is really weird because the processing date is March 5th, 2018 my refund was issued on February 22nd (before my processing date) and my “As Of” date was April 2nd.
I’m starting to believe the cycle codes never change even though someone on another site had said she had a different one every year?
So @bitcoin assuming we are all weekly does this mean our next update will likely be Saturday morning? And the next DDD for anyone will be on February 3rd and February 5th and we will likely be on the 5th IF we are lucky?
Thanks for adding to this guys and for being nice and actually having done some research before giving your opinions:) Much appreciated.

-
January 28, 2020 at 8:25 am #4333543
I am not sure what time transcripts update? I just checked and my transcript is still showing no tax return received for 2019 and is blank. I filed on the 7th and accepted on the 13th. Have been sitting at 1 bar since then. last year my cycle ended in 03 so I just assumed I was daily. Does anybody know what time the mass transcripts update on Tuesdays?

Well, as promised, I would update, but nothing has changed as of this minute. I still sit on one bar, tt 152, only account and wage transcripts show 2019, the other 2 are N/A. Transcripts still 000, As of date Feb 10. Bitcoin, I have heard that it is a rolling date, also, which may not be a good thing. Brooke, I checked my transcripts the last few years and I was in similar boat as you. Last year, they show, “As of March 10”, but I received DD date of Feb 27th. I had EIC last year also and not this year. 2017 actually shows “As of Aug 27th”! and I received the refund, in February that year, also. It has been taken for Student Loan offsets the last 4 years and I consolidated, so it will not be taken this year. You would think the refund would be earlier without all of that!! Please keep this thread updated if you can. I will continue to do the same!! Nathan, I forgot, I am an 05, which I was told is weekly. Bitcoin believes it can be daily or weekly.

January 27, 2020 at 12:10 am #4333057
WMR updated a few days ago to refund received but I cannot view any transcripts for 2019. Even the one for 2019 wages says no record of return filed. Must be on weekly updates then?
-
January 26, 2020 at 11:41 pm #4333052
did some digging looks like the as of date on peoples blank transcript is a rolling internal date that tells the system when you should definitely be done processing note the WORDS rolling
-
January 26, 2020 at 8:07 pm #4333039Brooke
Nothing has changed at all. WMR and Transcripts still the same. Not sure what the “As Of” date means at all because I looked at my transcripts from 2018 and my “As Of” date was March 18th and my refund was issued last year on Feb. 27th. Last year I had the Earned Income Credit though so this year I had hoped for an earlier return. Will keep mine updated as well thanks Julie!

January 25, 2020 at 10:26 am #4332861Julie
Well, no change today. Still one bar, 152 and all 000 with “As of Feb 10” on transcripts. I have also been an 05 the last 4 years . I thought that was weekly but Bitcoin mentioned it could also be daily. I filed later last year and the refund went through Feb 27th, although it was taken for student loan debt. I am not sure what the “As of Feb 10” date means, either. I will keep this post updated. Please do the same!

Accepted 01/15/2020
01/24/2020 First day to see transcript, all blank though. -
January 24, 2020 at 11:57 pm #4332813Brooke
Same. Filed with Liberty Tax in office to get an advance and they said I was accepted in the test batch Jan. 14th. No EIC, do have the Child Tax Credit for one dependent but NOT the one that is subject to PATH (the Addl.” Child Tax Credit).
I was able to see my account transcript today and it shows all 000’s, says No record of return and also says, “As of Feb 10th”?
Mine is like yours and I have no cycle code for this year…if I was an 05 for the past three years can I assume I am always an 05?
What is the significance of the February 10th date?
-
January 24, 2020 at 9:26 pm #4332803
Unfortunately 05 are weekly or daily and they share the processing day
-
January 24, 2020 at 9:14 pm #4332802Julie
@Bitcoin. I thought that the 05’s were only weekly. I will keep you updated on here. Please keep me updated, too. Let’s hope for the best!
