What does it mean if you are only able to order account transcript

Are you guys referring to order online or via mail? I was able to order transcript for 2016 via mail but not online bc the IRS has to send me a pin. But via mail they are sending me 2016 return transcript. Does this mean anything? Thanks for the help!

I *think* it depends on if you’re a daily or weekly… I’ve been a weekly process for the past few years so I’m not expecting to be able to order a return transcript until next Saturday. If you’re daily, then I guess just keep checking every day.

OK so I was able to order my account transcript but no Return how long does it usually takes to get the return after u get the account transcript?

Means we are finally starting to be processed… I wasn’t able to order any transcripts yesterday but I was able to order an account transcript just now. I’m assuming I’ll be able to order a return transcript next week some time. Doesn’t really matter for me though since my husband and I claimed EIC and have 3 kiddos.

I’ll second what Renae said. I’m in the same boat. It means we are moving along in the system. Shouldn’t be long before we can order the return transcripts and that often means that you’re done processing.

You’re not done until you’re able to order return transcript according to information I’ve read.
