Nomorepath …lol so your one return is the bulk of them? Because so far all you have stated is just yours going there. Pfft theory. Mad about people getting alot back? I’m not because I don’t care. No sense in getting mad for something out of your or our control.

Besides most of those people will blow it all and be broke as hell again the next day.

Don’t get snappy with me because I burst.your Austin bubble theory. One look couldn’t told you that the bulk of eastern states don’t all go to Austin. Mine has always gone to KC from Georgia.

The IRS never has a ryhme or reason to the way they process. If you want to get mad about something, be mad because people who barely paid in anything are getting back enough to buy a damned car.

No shit nomorepath. Never said they are randomly routed. Also all of mine went to Austin. A bulk of them go to Austin. I didn’t say all. KEYWORD “BULK: meaning not all.

@Aaronx they’re also electronically routed by state. Look at your previous transcripts for a location code. Returns aren’t just randomly sorted to processing locations because they were efiled.

Everything I looked up, states that Austin processes a bulk of the paper returns. I didn’t file paper, so I doubt mine went to Austin. Also, I file early most years and get accepted in the test batch. I usually end up being in the 2nd week of deposits. I’m usually a weekly, although last year was completely different for everyone…

Yea this is some BS. Saw the IRS post on twitter that all who filed so far with credits will get an update on the 22nd.

Well, I get no credits and file the simplest of returns. When will the people like me get an update? F the IRS. They have one thing they need to be good at and they are trash year in and year out

Florida goes to Texas but Georgia and Alabama go to KC. Since everything is basically automated, I’m going to go with resequenced. Then again, I’m a weekly and always file early and always end up in the second weekly update. Don’t know why but that’s the way it’s been for years now.

You can look it up to see where your return goes. I’m in Georgia with a basic 1040 and mine goes to Kansas City, MO.

Austin Texas location handles majority of the electronic submitted returns now. Yea I’m sure we are all impacted for the same reason. News I found out today.

Irs closed down the Pennsylvania location in 2005 leaving Austin Texas center to handle the bulk of the returns…sucks.

Filed 1/29. Was told it was accepted on 2/11, then TT said it was accepted on 2/14, and then today TT said accepted on 2/11 again. IDK WTF is going on. But like a lot of you here, I am really frustrated seeing folks who filed after/were accepted days after who are already getting their DDD and/or money already. Its mind boggling

I’m in Texas…one of the major processing centers for the IRS is in Austin Texas. Austin Texas lost power for nearly 3 days straight due to that bad weather we had.

Austin processing center serves lower East States and some central states as well.

Yes tons of other people on the other FB groups having the same issue as us.

They updated transcripts throughout out the day however the bulk of them are done from midnight to 8am. Saturday and Sundays not so much.
