Accepted 1/18, lost bars 2/4, still have "we receivied and are processing."

No tax topic, and I’m starting to stress over what’s going on. Is anyone in the same boat?

I have been checking my mail and no letters have been received, so I can only assume that the message means what the simple rhetoric says- that they are processing my return. Ecspecially when I ready that only 0.06% of returns in my bracket are audited.

Still wanting to know if anyone is in my boat? Has anyone who filed before 1/18 had bars go missing and then come back with a DDD?

If I was under review she said I would have received a notice via mail already. They send them right when they pick returns for reviews. Per Tax Advocate

I called Tax Advocate today and they said that all early filers get pushed into the 1/23 processing and that’s when the 21 days begins. Who knows if that’s true, but there are a lot of us who are in the same boat so I assume so.

I lost bars on Saturday as well. I’m starting to think that those of us who lost them Saturday are weeklies. I have always had my update on Saturday morning with a ddd the following Wednesday. I filed 1/23 and am thinking us earlier filers may have got re-sequenced which led to the bars disappearing? So I’ll stay hopeful till this Saturday. As I have yet to receive anything in the mail. If I don’t have any movement by then at least I’ll be able to call on Monday because it’ll be their 21 days.

Same boat accepted on 1/18. I’ve been waiting patiently and checking my mail for a letter and nothing yet ;(. I hope Friday we get some type of movement. But it seems this year there’s a lot of people who had their bats missing and the generic message. So let’s all hope for the best and that it’s still processing.

@just I think its just the process. I’m hoping we will get updated on Friday/Saturday and will have a date for Monday. I read somewhere that the dates processed between January 28-2/2 will be paid out on the 13th. That was their schedule. So i’m just keeping my fingers crossed that there is nothing wrong and that my money will be here next week. Last year i got my money in 14 days. Today has been my 14th day. But my bars disappeared as of Sat morning so i’m assuming i’m a “weekly”

@helper- yeah, same here. I think I would’ve received a letter by now if I was going to receive one but who knows.

I realized I had $800 in income from a 1099 that I didn’t report and I’m wondering if that’s the hold up. I wanted to submit an amended return but they advise not to until I get my refund and/or revised return back.

I filed on 1/31, I had the bars until 2/4 as well. Since then I have had the same message with no Tax Code.. Trying to figure it out! Just the waiting game I guess.
