Anyone else Accepted 1/22 and still waiting on Refund Approved?

Sounds like you are a weekly and those that processed before you were dailys. I know the struggle. Weeklys only update on Saturday and usually get a deposit date for a Wednesday. I don’t really know how IRS decides who is weekly or daily, but I’ve been a weekly for the last 6 yrs.

Accepted 1/22 showed up on WMR as processing right away
Stayed on processing until 5 days or a week ago when I started getting the still processing message. Started getting frustrated.
Woke early this morning, still had processing message. On a hunch decided to check again and FINALLY have a ddd of 2/13. Hopefully all goes well with it. The 13th means it took me 22 days this year. I’ve never had to wait this long and I’d certainly like to know exactly why mine was delayed so long while many others that were accepted long after mine have already received their refunds or have dates the same or before mine. I hope this is the only year with such awful disarray!

So I hadn’t checked WMR yet today before I read these messages. I am the same as many here as having filed 1/21 accepted 1/22. Just checked and got the same message many of you have gotten about my refund being processed or whatever. Honestly, was better than looking at that stupid one bar again! Hopefully this is a signal of progress and we’ll all very soon get a DDD. Here’s hoping good things for all of us!

UPDATE… My bars disappeared, and WMR says “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” Guess I’ll continue to wait….

Scared to make account and try for transcripts and have no ideas if I’m weekly or daily…

It seems to me previous years my deposit would usually hit before the WMR updates…would that mean I’m weekly? Also if there were issues would it show under the generic tax topics on WMR or only on these transcripts?
