For all those who file earlier and hasn’t seen any update just want to give some good news my transcript update this morning with processing date of 20190702 and has DDD of 2/15. I check WMR just now and get no bar now which according to others is good because Wednesday major update will show up.
Happy tax and F the IRS. Going to Vegas to spend some lol.

Hey crisp!
It will be interesting to see what happens. Does your transcript show 846 on it yet? It doesn’t look like any of us PATHers have that code yet. Your cycle code ends in 05 so your transcripts if not complete likely won’t update until Friday with WMR updates on Saturdays for weeklies. If you have the 846 code is there a date next to it?

I am a PATHer, for the last 4 years my processing date has been after I received my refund. The last 2 years my (including this year) my processing date was a Monday and I got my refund depoisted on the Thursday prior. The only difference was in 2015 when my processing date was late February but I actually got my refund on Feb. 10. So from my experience, I’ve always gotten my refund at least 4 days before my processing date. My processing date is 2/18/2019 this year with a cycle date of 20190505, so im hoping to get my refund deposited on Thursday or Friday. If not it will be the first time ever that I didn’t get it before my processing date.

I’m not trying to dampen anyone spirits. I’m just telling u what happened to me last tax season. I filed early 01/22 and accepted the next day. Im a weelky so my taxes r process once a week on Thursday r Friday. I had 1 bar for a week and the next week I lost my one bar and had a generic message with my info still along the side. I could see both transcripts with a processing date but no code 846. My processing date kept changing. The second week i call the IRS and was told nothing was wrong. The next week I called a lady stated i would get a letter in the mail. So the beginning of March I received a letter stating that it was no action to be taken I would get my refund in 60 days. I saw people with my situation calling a tax advocate. So I called one and she finally got me my refund issued at the end of March. To this day I don’t know why my taxes were held. I’m assuming because i file mines with my last check stub. My opinion losing bars is not good. Last tax season was very stressful for me. That code 570 on my transcript will not move.

I bet since you are a daily your WMR will have your DDD posted there tomorrow (unless you updated already). I read dailies get DD on Fridays which lines up with your 2/15 date. Weeklies get them on wednesdays.
Are you pATH?

@jessica143 and everyone else, Yes the daye next to code 846 is 2/15. i think we all thinking too hard about this year. I have been using my transcript as a way to know when and what my refund would be.
YES, MY DDD is 2/15 next to code 846. I would probably get my money either Wednesday night late or earlier Thursday as chase never hold anything for me since I have bi-weekly DDD and two saving account with them.

👏👌
I’m good. I’m just as capable of reading as you are. Haven’t had issues with anyone on this forum so I’m not worried. Most people posting about their transcripts are sharing similar info to what I’ve said. Most are PATH. If you have so much insight maybe you could be a better resource? Maybe let people know why the processing date would be so important since that’s not the info we are all seeing. 🤷♀️

I asked a question for my own research since I see transcripts on a daily basis. Some their DDD is before it and some are average 3-5 days after. (Most my clients owe due to their WH) I asked a simple question and you got crazy about it citing you know more than me. I don’t know who pissed in your cereal but I hope your day gets better. Thank you @BA it’s okay. She can look it up and feel dumb. This PATH got everyone getting crazy lol 😆

Why does it matter to YOU what someone is asking or concerned about? That’s the real question. To each their own…you getting worked up over something she asked the original poster 🙄You could care less, so what she asking, why she’s asking it, & whatever else shouldn’t matter to YOU! Happy tax season y’all!

Again WHY does anyone care about the processing date except for the tax filer? This is a date to be noticed and concerned about if it’s PASSED and nothing has happened.
I could care less if she asked a question. I don’t want the original poster or anyone else thing processing dates matter for refunds which seems to be a big misconception on these boards

Thank you @BA exactly. It was just a question.

A lot of people “work” in taxes. All you need to do is look at your prior year transcripts to see these dates don’t correlate with DDD and I’m clarifying for people who keep misunderstanding that processing dates have anything to do with refunds. That’s what gets people wound up and concerned about their returns in the first place.

She never said the processing date was the DDD nor did she say it had anything to do with the DDD 😑 she simply was ASKING the original poster what her processing date is. That’s all…

Girl please just stop. I work in taxes. I asked a question. My lord.

You believe they do? My processing date last year was 3/14/18 and I got my refund 2/26/18….right in line with the info below 🙄
Here’s what our forum admin has said:
I’ll try to explain it as simply as I can with the best of my knowledge. That date is more or less a “process by date” so that returns don’t get stuck without a resolution. As the date approaches then the system is flagged to scan the account again to see if there was a problem that caused it to no be resolved. For the most part having your refund released (846 code) resolves the account and it closes it out. For those of us on PATH that means we cannot receive that refund prior to 2/15 so the system will scan the account and see the credit codes that fall under PATH and assign a new “processing date.” Those dates are always a Monday date and everyone who processed during that cycle will have the same date. This does not however mean that everyone will receive their DD on the same date as there are other things to factor in.
Long story short- the “processing date” does not correlate with a DDD and can actually be weeks later than when you actually receive your DD. -

Smh okay 👌🏼

Yes but the processing date doesn’t actually mean anything other then to the system. The processing date is meant to be in place so your return doesn’t pass that date without an update or being closed out by a refund being issued. There’s a much longer version of this answer out in the forum.
I’m not sure why everyone keeps getting hung up on the processing dates when really that doesn’t make a difference in terms of deposits, codes, account balances etc.
👌👍

Ah I did not say the processing date was the DDD…😒

Processing date is not a DDD. If they have a date next to the 846 code that would be more accurate for DDD.

What was your processing date? The date you said is a cycle code.
Did you have credits?

so you have no bar, but is your refund amount still there? I was accepted the 25th, bar disappeared today and my refund amount isnt there…still no transcript for me.

If you could come back and update your post with the date your WMR updates that would be great!
Also you said your transcripts shows a DDD if 2/15? Is this the date next to your 846 code?
