      Quick question – just saw 971 notice issued after my stimulus payments for each time. Does that just mean they send me a letter saying that deposited my stimulus? Is everyone having this on there transcripts?

            My transcripts only show my 1st stimulus. I don’t show anything for the 2nd or 3rd stimulus. My taxes are also under review, I received my 60 day review letter in the mail 2 days ago. TT 152 still being processed. N/A on my transcripts.

                Check your transcripts! I had 570 and 971 last Friday and today account action resolved and refund issued!!

                  I have 971 AND 570…. What I cant figure out is the dates. They show 4/05/2021. Does that mean that’s when they’ll send it? Obviously it’s only 3/19 so what’s going on? I’m so confused… I’m starting to wish I had never looked at WMR that first time LOL It’s been a rabbit hole ever since the “bars disappeared”

                    No stimulus and no refund with the same code. But i also have not received any letter. This is crazy

                        I have been trying to track down my missing EIP2 payment since it was deposited into a phantom account on January 4th. I was finally able to get someone to track, and thus reissue, my payment. Code 971 popped up on my transcript with the update on Thursday for the payment trace. No movement on my refund.

                        Filed 2/15 – tax slayer
                        Accepted – 2/18
                        *All of the credits* and RRC for missing stimulus payment

                          Yes, at the end of 2020 the IRS sent out a later stating what you received as far as stimulus amounts you received and letting you know if you need to claim them on your taxes or if you don’t have to.
                          Anytime the IRS sends a letter it puts an eternal account code 971 which pretty much tells the system and whoever is looking at the account a letter got sent.

                          Even if the IRS sent a letter just to say Hi it would throw a 971 code.

                            Yes, I have that as well. It has a 0.00 for it so I don’t believe its anything to worry about.
