      I filed and was accepted on the 20th. Received the PATH message 2/4. Ordered and received both trannys. I have code 766 768 150 and 971. Im confused as to what the 971 mean. Im going to call the IRS but in the meantime, any input?

                You probably will have to talk to someone at the IRS to get specific information 971 is a “catch all” code for a miscellaneous transaction. I’m guessing it probably applies to the other codes you received, but the only way to know definitively is to ask.                     Could be anything honestly its hard to say, could be a letter about the path act and why your refund was delayed? not sure
