      Transcripts show 971/570 codes with a date of 3/29/21. Only thing that seems off about the return so far is that

      RECOVERY REBATE CREDIT:……………………………………….$2,200.00
      RECOVERY REBATE CREDIT PER COMPUTER:……………………………..$600.00

      We had twins born 2020 and claimed the recovery rebate credit for them. I’m guessing is whats holding it up? Any thoughts an ideas or people who have this similar situation

          Many are complaining about how the IRS “managed” during this last 13 months since the powers-that-be declared that we’re in a pandemic, but the SSA is probably even worse. They probably haven’t updated the national database that would allow the IRS to verify the existence of those people. I’m sure they’ll all get caught up and synchronized, eventually; it’s just a question of how long it will be.

            Look at your tax transcripts. Are their social security numbers on there? We had a baby too. His SSN was on TT refund but missing on my tax return transcript downloaded from irs.com. Have both codes as well. Apparently by 3/29 we will get a letter with next stesps
