    Impatiently Waiting

I’ve have the 9001 code since two days after being accepted on 1/28 no changes at all and no letters in the mail anyone knows if this is hood or bad? There are no bars and it says “we can not provide information about your return” Any info or updates from anyone who called in with this code?

Got the same here. Kinda freaked out when I first saw it. I looked around and it seems that this code has nothing to do with audit or anything specific to your return. Also, I realized that every year I get ID verified. Never fails. I think maybe they updated the default “still processing” message to this. But every year to me it’s the same. Weird general error message, freak out, then it’s just ID verify.

I had 9001, tried to id verify, said it wasn’t available to me, so I don’t think it was id verify related. I have since updated to code 1541, I think it is just a hold because I filed way too early for them, accepted 1/15.
Everyone wants their money, alot of people on here trying to pop other people’s happy bubbles, because must loves company, and there is no way you could get your refund before then because it wouldn’t be fair 🤣

I am on the same boat…same exact situation…called IRS and was told to wait 21 days…I have received no letters or anything…I am guessing just wait it out….but everyone keeps saying they need to verify our identity, but that’s incorrect as well because the IRS would have said that.
