60 day review letter

3 weeks after id verifying I got a letter saying I am under review for my income. they only asked for my phone number and the best time to reach me. I sent it back today but I have a feeling I wnt get my return or stimilus for another couple of months. I hope I can just submit an amended 1040x and get my return sooner. Anyone else get a letter like this.

  I called and was told that because i didnt file last year i wont get the stimulus until my return is done. I ony go the first stimulus and it went off my 2018 return. I have seen some people say they waited 2-6months so im just hoping it dont take over 3 months because i really need some extra money.

  You might still get your stimulus. I got mine and got other refunds since then. I just have not gotten the refund from 2 years ago that began with 30 day letter, then a 60 day, then another 60 day for 2 years.

  oh wow, this is crazy, so i may not ever get my stimulus,smh. I cant believe they can do this to people.

  Yeah, and they kept it running for 2 years till finally i got a 90 day letter saying i can agree with their decision to give me basically half my refund, or take it to tax court. I just agreed. Still waiting on that partial refund they owe me……..2 years and counting.
