60 Day Hold

Got a letter for 60 day review on refund from IRS in Kansas City.
Has anyone else who received same thing noticed if WMR still has 1 bar and Tax Topic 152? Mine does and was curious to see if everyone who received letter had the same thing.

  Yep. Filed 2/12, accepted 2/13 with TT and received letter 3/1 dated 2/26 from IRS that said my account was under 60-day review and I did not need to do anything right now. Checked WMR and it shows 1 bar with amount and last 4 with TT 152.

  Ok, so you received a letter but WMR still shows TT152 and a bar? I’ve been trying to figure out what the variances mean (i.e. lost all bars and TT152 versus lost bars and no TT152, etc.). But all I’ve really only figured out is that there is no answer and the IRS appears to be inconsistent. Ugh.

  Seems like they’re going to do this to buy themselves time, I really really hope I don’t get a letter!!!! Was there any other explanation? Ugh, what a bummer!
