      My transcript updated yesterday. I see the refund/credit amount (-$XXXX) but the next line has a “570” code and a 4/5/21 as of date. Does anyone know what this means?

          You guys are right. I think the notice I got was because they adjusted my refund amount. I just noticed they increased the amount.

            @LuckyDuck Sometimes it’s quick sometimes it’s not, it all depends on what the issue is. Maybe your 971 code was for the stimulus letter.

              Mine was resolved within a week and I had a 971 code with my 570.

                Not necessarily true. I had 570 and 971 code at the same time last Friday I was checking my transcripts daily. Yesterday I checked and it was resolved and refund issued. Didn’t have to do anything on my end. I’m still waiting for the notice they sent out.

                  We’ve had the 570 as 3/8 code for over 3 weeks now (as of the date I learned to check transcripts and noticed) we really need this money. We are one of the families that got a half stim so while we were great full for that money it didn’t get out out of the covid hole. I’m trying jot to stress but it getting harder every day.

                    Freeze code. They are not done processing it. You should see it resolved by the next update if there isn’t a 971 code under it.

                      I got the 570 also. I read that it’s only bad if you have a notice issued with it. Mine says 766 credit to your account, 971 notice, then 570 additional account action.

                        570 is a refund freeze code. Once it lifts then you should get a refund. I had it years ago and mine lifted the very next day but my refund was reduced.
