      anyone with a similar situation?

      Filed and accepted 2/3/2018. bars disappeared 2/17/2018. tried to get transcripts, no go. received ID verification letter and verified. Got transcripts and had these codes:

      150 tax return filed 20181005 03-26-2018
      766 credit to your account 04-15-2018
      768 earned income credit 04-15-2018
      570 additional account action required 03-26-2018
      971 notice issued 04-02-2018

      waited for 03-26-2018 to get here as this was a little more than three weeks away. Nothing happened. waited until 04-02-2018 checked again, nothing. on Friday the 6th, pulled cp05 letter from mailbox. checked transcripts after reading letter:

      424 examination requested 04-02-2018

      One week later, pulled new transcript and the TC 424 was now this:

      420 examination of tax return 04-06-2018

      no word since then. WMR still has return being processed with return amount still present and unchanged. TT 152 still there as well. Ive been patient this whole time but starting to get pretty irritated. F*** the IRS and our whole government. Time for a change!!!

                Btw i have 3 bars ddd of 7/11 no money was told about proving my dependents.I already amended my return it was a adjusted today 7/13/2018 I have to wait til tomorrow to see what’s going on.

                    So, I was informed that they received my paperwork and that they will be finished reviewing that by 10/26/2018. Talk about some BS!!! letter was dated July 2. I fail to see how it should take almost 4 months to check my paperwork and issue me my return. The IRS needs to be dismantled along with the federal reserve system.

                      just an update:

                      I got audited and had to prove head of household, EIC and my earnings. I am still waiting to hear back after sending it back in.

                          I ID verified 4/17
                          check my status today and see codes: 150, 806, 570 and 971
                          Trying to call and see what is needed.

                                I e-filed, accepted 02/08. Approaching 30 days I called the I.R.S. They said they mailed me the id verification letter two weeks prior (did not receive). I talked to two different agents. Both resent the letter but I did not wait until receiving it and verified in person on 03/10. I ordered my transcripts by mail but have not received them. WMR says “being processed.”

                                This will be the last time I will have a refund because I’m not giving them free loans anymore, after all of this. I am in my early 40’s, never had this happen.
