Does anyone have any experience with this review not being the end of the world? We claimed EIC and ACTC. We are under 45 day review, no explanation, no letters sent. 570 code has a date of 3-9-2020. I checked and double checked our return and there are no errors. TAS told me they are reviewing ALL returns with EIC and ACTC, not just some. IRS told me our 45 days started from Feb 1 but that was the day after I filed, why would they have placed it under review that soon?

I filed on 2/01 was accepted then turned to “being processed to “still” being processed. I called the irs they told me I’m on a 45 day hold from not filing my 2016 taxes and once it’s done it can take up to 12 weeks, has anyone had this happen or know of everyone that didn’t have to wait so long or have advice
