My dates are below. Started with 5071C for ID verify with blank transcripts and once they become available showed a code of 570 with a cycle code of 20191105. Received 4464C letter on 04/01/2019
Filed – 02/05/2019
Cycle – 20191105
Called and received 5071C letter same day – 02/24/2019
Verified online – 02/25/2019
Verified again over the phone – 02/26/2019
Processing date – 04/01/2019Checked for transcripts and were blank, also called a few times was told all looked fine. I checked on 03/18/2019 and my transcripts are filled but have a code of 570 with a date of 04/01/2019. Called a few more times and was always told everything looked perfectly fine. But no update after the 570.
Received 4464C letter on 04/01/2019 which is what my processing date showed on the transcripts.

So my 60 days was up Mon 5-14. (4464C letter dated 3-14.) Nothing from IRS. Going to get TA and call IRS Mon am. Sounds like all the 60 day review people being told NEW 60 day letters were sent on the 9th…

No updates or addl letter from IRS for me. Not sure if my 60 days was yesterday 5/14 or on 5/18. I will be taking a half day off work to talk to IRS on phone and hook up with a TA. 4464C, F/A 4-6-19, income slightly overreported, my error, due to FSA and last paystub issue.

Get a TA hardship proof can be:
Print them and fax them in once you call 877# for TA you could be on hold over 2 hours but be patient or miss out. They will give you case# and write case# on top of every sheet faced. Irs never told me hold up only the advocate!
Low bank balance
Late on any bills
Pawn receipts
Letters
Etc. -

Good morning all, I ended up getting a Tax Advocate who has been amazing. I was told right away that my job whom I’ve been working for 4 years didn’t report my earnings which even my company didn’t believe that because of 5,000+ employees only mine was missed. Well after about two weeks I was approved with the Advocates help and had a deposit schedule date for today. But unfortunately my bank account was closed so now I have to deal with; was told it can take another 3 weeks for me to get a hard check. Soooo still not done with this AMAZINGGG situation :/
has anyone received their money or an update?

Mine updated on Friday with a 290 code additional tax assessed for $0 and my as of date changed from 4-8 to 5-13
This is my progress so far:
Update: received letter on 4/8 saying that my return is reduced by a little over $300 which I already know because I sent them the updated 8962 showing that. I’m not sure if that cancels out the 4464c 60 day that I received on 3/18 or not. The new letter said I should get my refund in 4-6 weeks.
F/A 2/7
2/25 bars disappeared but account transcript updates with 3/4 as of date
3/4 passes
12c letter 3/11, fax over 8962, refund reduced by 350
4464c letter 3/18
All transcripts update 3/22 with cycle code 20191205 and show amount due after adjustmentCodes:
806 W-2 or 1099 withholding 04-15-2019
766 Credit to your account 04-15-2019
768 Earned income credit 04-15-2019
570 Additional account action pending 04-08-2019
971 Notice issued 04-08-2019 (ended up being an adjustment letter)

Jack shitt for me. waiting since 2/5. nothing updated on WMR or transcripts since 2/23. Got letter 3/13? no one knows shitt at the IRS b/c they’re all dumb as rocks. Don’t even know why they have ppl answering the phones there. Don’t know who’s dumber, our President or the IRS. Calling it a tie.

My return was e filed, accepted 1/30/19. Then delayed processing 2/9. Then 3/8 went into 4464c review until 5/8.
Nothing has changed on wmr and no one at the IRS knows why my return is being reviewed. I haven’t ever encountered anything like this before. I claim the same and file the same every year.
Fingers crossed that I will get my refund in May.

April 10, 2019 at 6:26 pm #4323154Kristen
Yeah the debates and lies have been so ridiculous, I just said hey maybe one day I will get my money. One girl that I know personally has same cycle code and Id verify and got her review letter with same date. It’s just crazy but unfortunately ppl like to bicker and be stupid. I just got by facts of ppl with same cycle date having the same issues all for no reason at all
-
April 10, 2019 at 5:49 pm #4323146
@ Kristen if u scroll down to the group with cycle code 20191205 they have all gotten this letter n I called the IRS and was told I was not under review n I’m not the only one who feels this letter is some B’s maybe u are just a ” rare” person who indeed is getting reviewed sorry not my fault n I’m not her to debate u feel how u feel n I do too
-
April 10, 2019 at 5:07 pm #4323141Kristen
Honestly I find it ironic we have the same cycle code. Same Id verify date and same date for the 570 and letter sent 4/2
I honestly think it’s not random when just about everyone’s situation has 2 or more things in common.

Why do some have 971 code and some don’t!!

April 10, 2019 at 3:26 pm #4323113
These letters are fake and pushes out to us when the 45/60 days is near even if u are off let them figure it out before amending or calling them I’m not trying to tell anyone to break the law but as long as it’s already been restarting this process will take longer n F THE law the encouraging e file so we can get it by in 21 days hell it’s been 58 for me

April 5, 2019 at 9:09 pm #4322506chicagoannie
I’ll join ‘ya. F/A 2/6 lost bars 2/25, stuck on still processing since then. Received 4464C dated 3/18 60 day review. Contacted my former employer as I never received W2 and used my last paystub. Huge mistake. Off by $2K due to pre-tax FSA funds. So IRS must see my return as over-reporting income. Withholdings were correct tho. So now I wait and wonder if I should get a TA and amend…or see if IRS will correct the difference. Argh.

@GV
same as yours. filed 1/28 and accepted. WMR goes to can not provide any info around 2/5. 5071c on 2/19. confirm same day. call around 3/1. told return is now back in processing and nothing wrong. transcripts update around 3/17 with the 570 code. processing date 4/1. no update last weekend ( i am a 05). get the 4464c on 4/1 dated 3/28. transcript shows no return has been filed.and does not show the 5071 or 4464 letters even being sent. a TA will not help because it is not a hardship. frustrating.

April 4, 2019 at 5:04 pm #4322254
There’s nothing to update. the IRS is sending out those letters so they don’t have to pay us the 4% they’re legally obligated to if they don’t pay our refunds by 4/15. Just another shitty gov’t loophole to fuk us hard working taxpayers.
I’ve been waiting since 2/5. Got that bulllshit letter dated 3/14 and haven’t seen an update to my transcripts or WMR since 2/23. My transcripts don’t even show the stupid letter they sent me, that’s how dysfunctional the IRS is right now. I mean, look who’s in charge? The KING of incompetence. The trickle down effect the GOP talks about is is trickle-down stupidity which is at a all time high right now.
We’re not gonna see our money for a looong, long time. I recommend doing what I did and claiming EXEMPT this year so you get all your money in your paychecks and then next year, file on 4/15 so we can fuk them right back like they’re doing to all of us this year.
Hey IRS! FUK YOU!

@gv
I don’t know why I got two, and the general idea of the letters are the same but the wording is different. I’ll definitely be updating when something happens.

@UGH that’s strange I wonder why you got 2 4464C, but I’m with you I’m so over this delay. At this point I feel like I’ll be getting my return during Christmas :( If you don’t mine let’s keep each other updated
-
April 2, 2019 at 10:15 am #4321708Ugh
I got my 4464c dated March 1, then another one dated March 7. IRS told me to ignore the second one, it was a “glitch” which makes me think it is just a delay tactic. Called a second time, told I was under a 45 day review starting March 18, which is when my 570 code is dated. Called a third time, after the 45 day review started, expected to hear they changed the start of the review, nope, March 18. Both the 60 day and 45 day reviews end on the same day, May 2.
I’m so over this.
