My taxes were accepted 2/21, got a 4464C letter on 3/5. As of today it still has “still processing”

I’m running out of ideas and no one to contact. For 5 years I got a 5071C letter to verify ID since the OPM breach. Now that I’m no longer under that check, I get a 4464C letter. I am unable to see my transcript. I think because of the breach, there is a flag on my account. Whenever I try to sign up for the online service I get “a condition has been identified that is preventing your access. You will not be able to use this service.” So I click the alternatives, and try the phone number. Same issue, I cannot get my transcript via phone. The IRS has no offices open and is no longer accepting transcript requests by mail, so what am I supposed to do?!

The three times I called the TAS, they have me three different numbers, all of which have been usupended. Today, my local TAS office is not even accepting any calls for requests or to open a case.

So No job, no refund, no ability to contact the IRS; is this going to affect my ability to receive my stimulus check? I’m out of ideas short of contacting my legislators.

Did anyone change or help you Alex or was it just eventually processed?

I also asked her about why I keep getting “A condition has been identified that is preventing your access to IRS online services. You will not be able to use this service. Please click “Continue” to view alternatives”. She is also unable to help with that. So here we are again, no access to online services, no access to transcripts, no access to live help, which means no refund. Day 65.

I filed on 2/21, 4464C letter on 3/5. I tried calling a number I had received on previous year notices on 5/4. surprisingly the 4883C phone number works. doesn’t solve my problem though. The lady on the phone told me that my case has to be handled by the accounts management department, and their phone numbers are not available at this time. I get the feeling she (and her department) are receiving a lot of unrelated phone calls, as she seemed agitated.

Well I did get my stimulus check, but still no-go on the refund. As of Tuesday 5/5 I’ll be at 60 days. I also never got a paper copy of my transcript, so I still don’t know what the hold up is.

Ok I did get my stimulus today, so thankfully it wasn’t held up. Thank you Thicls for your response.

This doesn’t solve the 4464C issue, but it at least solved the repo man taking my car problem.

Well, I think you will still get your economic impact payment.
