Does anyone know if there is a chance it will come early? Is the DDD for the Santa Monica Bank (I used TT) or my bank account? Any answers appreciated. Share your stories here!!

I filed on 3-5-17 and received a DDD of 3/15/17. I already received my Georgia state refund earlier in the week but as of now nothing for Federal. I’ve checked the where’s my refund app and website daily. All three bars show complete and payment has been sent to the bank. I bank with Associated Credit Union. I’m really starting to get concerned because I’ve called my bank twice and they have no info and know nothing. I double checked my routing and checking account number and everything perfect no errors. Does anybody else have this problem or possibly know what might be going on? Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Stephanie, I have DDD 3/15 too. It should have showed “pending” for a couple of days. Then it should have disappeared altogether today. Usually means it’ll post to your account overnight/through early morning.

Tracie or anyone else who uses NFCU. I have a DD of 3/15, but it’s not showing pending yet. I’ve already received my state return. Does anyone else show their return as pending with Navy Fed? I’m pretty stressed over this…tryin to stay calm. Thx.

Good to see some people with bank DD’s are at least seeing them as pending. I use woodforest, and I’m not seeing anything yet, although I hope to at least see it as pending tomorrow. They usually make pending funds available even if it hasn’t actually cleared yet. Here’s to hoping!
Good luck all! I just might have to try a NetSpend card next year.

I use USAA. Filed for free using HR block. No fees, money going directly into my checking acct. USAA is usually pretty good about releasing funds early. I get my military pay a day before everyone else thanks to my bank. Should be the same for the return. Fingers crossed.

Ineedmymoney147,
You need to chill. Tax season sucks, but seriously, chill out a little. I filed early January, and finally got my DDD this weekend for 3/15. Your time will come. Wishing anyone harm does nothing. Relax a little, I promise you will feel better. The people who answer the phone are not the decision makers. The phone operators are mostly temporary employees who read from a script. I called multiple times over the almost 2 months it took to get my DDD, I found that most of the time, when I was nice, they went further to help me. The first time I called, I was frustrated and had an attitude, and that person did nothing to assist me.Relax dude.

I will comment here because I have received mine and I had a Wednesday DDD (3/8) and I used TurboTax and had fees come from my refund. SBBT received my refund very early Tuesday morning, took their fees and sent to to my bank, all around 5:30-6am; from there it is up to your bank as to when they post it; I used RushCard and mine posted around 5:30 that evening. I hope this helps!
