I got my deposit day of 3/2 but it says it may be offset. Which the offset hotline told me it would be. My question is, will I get the remainder that’s left after my debt is paid on the DDD given? Or will it take much longer now?

I have an offset too, 203 – student loans. With the generic notice of 3/2 check back on IRS, blah blah blah. When I called FBS, I didn’t have an offset associated with my SS? I googled some and a lot of posts said the hotline is annacurate a lot of times, unless they already received their payment and I was taken off this quick? Could that be why? Thanks! This post gave me some hope/reassurance of the remaining refund to be deposited this morning! Good luck all.

I also had an offset, called the offset number today and it said offset would be paid to the company tomorrow so I was expecting or hoping rather that my refund would also be deposited tomorrow. To my surprise, I checked my bank account today and my refund was already in my account, sans offset amount.

So no, it should not disrupt your refund date.

I believe you’ll get the remaining balance. I have a offset as well.

@tina I had that happen a couple of years ago. They’ll just give you what’s left and it won’t be delayed.
