So I can see my account transcript now and it say the cycle number is 20200605 and I’ve never had the 6 before and I was wondering if anyone knows what that means. I don’t have the path message yet so I’m assuming this means my wait will be longer this year.

@Mindy my tax transcript is nearly identical to yours. I have the same cycle code & tax codes. The dates are the same as well except I filed on January 14th. Have you gotten any update? I called the IRS and was told that my return is under a 60 day review.

Can someone please explain to me what TC474 means? There was a year missed of filing that I trying to get straightened out, and this code is on that year’s transcript. The description says established non-filing of tax return. Under that is a TC971, but the date for the notice isn’t until March 16th.

Some people are on daily look for their taxes amd some are weekly. You are weekly. You’s will update on saturday and saturday only. 971 code is injured spouse form claim. Take 11 to 11 to 14 weeks to process.

@Mindy
YOU get to sit back and relax, because you are going to be dealing with the IRS on a few corrections likely for the next couple months. BUT, the good thing is, you have NO CHOICE in this so DONT STRESS :)
YOU’VE GOT THIS!!

February 17, 2020 at 12:22 pm #4354825Candice
Mine says the same thing @Rhi. We have received your refund and it’s processing. No bars.
-
February 17, 2020 at 11:05 am #4354725Rhi
Accepted 1/28
Cycle 20200605
150 code processing date says 2/24
EICBut nothing else I can tell. Does the 2/24 mean anything?
My bars are gone and just says it’s processing.
Anyone have a DDD? -
February 16, 2020 at 4:14 pm #4353405Stacy C.
I have this, and had the same code for last year. I expect our refund on Friday if it’s the same as last year.
-
February 16, 2020 at 4:08 pm #4353392Mary
“Return due date of return received date (whichever is later.) April 15 2020”
Does that mean I am not getting my return until April??
Anyone know? I’m confused. It also says file date is 2/24/2020 but I filed January 28th.
Help lol

@baddjayy
I went from PATH message to no bars and a message saying my return was being processed. My refund amount is off to the side, though, and no other messages. -

Thank you.
It was my first post in here and besides the mistake I corrected about day/week for when that poster could expect their refund, & some typ-OH’s, I was fairly confident in my research, but a little frustrated I couldn’t just figure out how to edit me posts in here, LOL.I was surprised how much I was able to find out and,
NOW,
how much clearer the end of the year tax scene picture is in my mind.I have been paying a pro for some time now, A LOT to do what I found extremely EASY to do ALL FOR FREE ON •CREDIT KARMA•
•This is not an AD for CK• but honestly, it is so easy for straight forward returns or even itemized, which I have to do every other year it seems, as I age (medical bills).
CK is already a tax company, which most ppl do t know and I didn’t either until this past week, & because it’s free, your just selling them your Info, & to me that’s worth it.
I already downloaded who their 3rd party sharers are and have unsubscribes email to ALL OF THEM, as I know I’ll start getting tons of junk mail from them.
I also blocked all of their phone numbers in my iPhone and will go from there, so to me, CK is awesome.But, it completely blows my mind how much I learned this year because I had bars missing for the first time ever, which started my search that led to breaking down and understanding what transcripts are, used for, & meaning of codes & then using CK ALL FOR FREE the past two years instead of paying hundreds to a pro for the sane thing.
I hope all have a blessed year.

@TJH … Dude, well said. Everything you said is spot on and honestly should be plastered all over this site. Good info 👍

I’m SO SORRY.
The 6 in your code means 6th week of 2020. -
February 14, 2020 at 3:23 pm #4350267TJH
I believe the 6 in your cycle code of 20200605 (2020/06/05)
2020=date of year tax return is processed.
06 = sixth day of year refund will be released
05= you are & will always be a weekly updater as far as when the IRS releases info about your account as it goes through the process of being completed.
This means apps like WHERES MY REFUND & IRS2GO will update the 5th day of the week ALWAYS, which is Friday transcending into early Saturday morning.
Friday is considered the 5tg day of a business week.Other tax payers may see another number as part of their cycle code. Those numbers would be and represent the following:
01=MONDAY
02=TUESDAY
03=WEDNESDAY
04=THURSDSY.If you are a tax payer that has a cycle code of 1-4, it means the IRS can & will update info about how your tax return is processing any of the days I mentioned above (1-4) on the WHERES MY REFUND & IRS2GO apps.
I just figured this ALL out this year by reading the IRS.GOV website. It’s all in there, but I hope this helps others & I feel, based in my reading & research, I’m accurate.
Thus was the earliest I filed a return ever & I had concern.
Here’s why:
Filed and accepted 1/31/2020
WMR APP showed processing with topic 152 like always.It stayed this way until Tuesday 2/11/2020 when I checked it around 6am.
I discovered all bars gone and refund amount gone & that generic message that my return was still being processed & to check back. I still had topic 152 also.
The day before the bars were there 2/10/2020 (Monday).That’s when I started researching and first heard of transcripts. I started my transcript search and figured out how to find them & nothing had been fine for 2019.
Until today 2/14/2020 (FRIDAY & VALENTINES DAY & my 25th anniversary.
All of my transcripts are available for 2019 & I have an 846 code for a refund issue date of 2/20/2020.
The WMR AND IRS2GO apps are still not showing anything except the bars still missing.
Since my transcripts are done, & I’m a weekly, If all research Ive just shared is true, then the WMR AND IRS2GO APPS should update tonight to tomorrow morning (fri-sat-2/14-2/15/20).
I guess the WMR & IRS2GO apps, which cause is fits do not always follow the weekly and daily release of info based on how my bars of progress disappeared in a early Tuesday morning.
After reading these forums, it seems these apps are the source of much anxiety for us all & instead of utilizing them mainly, familiarizing oneself with transcripts and codes, provides the quickest info for us.
It took me a week of being able to see my transcript after I first looked mine up.
It appears, it was made available immediately after my return was processed by the IRS, based on date and time stamp of the IRS processing it and me seeing it.I hope this helps and not hurts anyone.

My mom was telling me about them after i filed of course. But yeah by 150 it says 2/24/20 but that’s also the as of date so I’m kinda lost tbh. My tax preparer said it’s accepted she doesn’t know when I will get a date. As of today it’s still saying the path stuff.

806. Is your w2 withholding
846 is your refund amount
150 date your return was filed/accepted -
February 7, 2020 at 7:27 pm #4342464Jessica
Ok it seems maybe I was looking at the wrong transcript? The refund transcript has no codes, but the record of account transcript has codes and a refund issued date of 2-12
-
February 7, 2020 at 6:30 pm #4342405Crystal
On your transcript, look for code 846 … That will tell you what your deposit date is. Mine updated this morning with a deposit of 2/12/2020

How long did it take for everyone to have the account transcript with info on it? I’m one week in but just curious ?

On federal tax transcript what does processing date 02/24/2020 means does it means they will send deposit that day? Why does it have future date? And what does code 20200605 cycle means?
-
February 7, 2020 at 1:24 pm #4342016George
What does the As of date mean? My account transcript was made clickable this morning but is blank lol? I’m as of Feb 24th

Hey guys I have this same code 20200605 but on my transcript it says “Recieved Date: April 15, 2020” what does this mean? I also don’t see any other codes or dates or anything on the transcript. My WMR? app shows Standard one bar with the Topic 152 underneath. Can i hope for an early return? Thanks.

I looked up and cycle code 20200605 indicates JAN 30, 2020 but I do not have a code 846 either, and have EITC and CTC as well/

I am in the same cycle code. I didn’t under 6th week of the year. Wouldn’t 2/7/20 be the 6th week of the year? Also where did you find the date of 2/12/20. Is that the,”as of date” mine is 2/24/20 but I have a EIC.
