            i filed on 1/23 and was accepted on the same day. i was finally able to order my return transcrpit on friday and i woke up yesterday with 2/19. i have etic, child tax, education credit, unemployment, w2.

                Yesterday got a DDD for 2/10

                noticed it took a week longer than last year to get my taxes. I kinda wonder if this is going to be a trend going forward.

                  I filed on 1/18 Accepted on 1/19 claimed AOC and did not have my 1098 yet and I put less than what the actual form stated meaning I probably could have gotten more. I will be amending it. I was approved 2/6 with a DDD 2/10

                    I did not have my 1098t on hand when filing either. I wonder if they are questioning my aoc credit will they just hold back that amount until I verify it or the entire refund?

                      My bars have totally disappear. I filed on 1/4/16, got accepted on the 14th of January. I have education credits.

                              1st year claiming education credits for myself But have claimed for my sons who go to a Magnet school with tuition.
                              I spoke to the IRS today, yesterday and a week ago, all workers informed me the delay has nothing to do with the hold up and everything looks great I am in the green, also talked to turbo tax says everything looks good as well. May see an update tomorrow or Saturday. Turbo tax lady informed me that she files her taxes on the 1st of January and did not receive hers back until yesterday.

                                      I am not counting my chickens before that deposit hits my account, ever get that feeling its too good to be true. I forgot to mention that I have had the 1098-T in hand for about 2 weeks prior to filing if that means anything to anyone. Will post on it IF and when it his my bank.

                                      My friend filed on the 28th and they are still at 1 bar and no changes from last year.

                                            Education credit rumor is TRUE but only for some people. IRS guy I spoke with said that they are holding some back but not all and couldn’t give me anymore information than that. I have the credit also and when I asked if I was being held back he said no you’re processing. Ugh.

                                              I have aoc too, but I did last year too and I received refund in 8 days. I don’t think that’s happening for me this year though.

                                              Its only been like 6 days for me so I have no reason to freak. As soon as I see a ddd I will rest easy. Just get anxious until I know I have no issues I need to deal with.

                                                I had AoA Education Credits too, already got my refund as of yesterday, so I don’t think the rumors are correct, I didn’t have my 1098-t in hand when I filed on the 11th either

                                                  I cannot find proof for this year, but I believe that anyone who has the AOA or edu credits is on a weekly cycle and come Friday/Saturday we should be able to get return scripts and then a DDD of 2/10 when we wake up Saturday morning. If we do not then I will be shocked. This is from the past few years. The difference for me this year is that I am now in graduate school instead of just my 4 year degree. My husband is on his 4 year degree and we both had the edu credits… so I think that is why it is taking longer. Like I said though, I really think that we are weekly and will be update on Friday Night/ Saturday Morning with a DDD of 2/10. :) If not, I will just stop checking and give up on it for a while. Try to stay positive and have a blessed day!

                                                      Still one bar. Sister filed on the 23rd and she has a dd of feb 8. No school credit but I do. This is making me sad. I have a payment for school due today and I was planning on used my return

                                                          I had the AOA with mine this year and last year. Last year no issues, return deposited 8 days after filing. This year filed 1/29 and I am at one bar. Boyfriend flied 2/1 and has 2/8 DDD no education credit.

                                                          Hopefully it won’t take long, I will just try and be patient.

                                                              Filed w/ Turbo Tax 1/14 Accepted 1/19 No DDD 1 bar Just says “Processing should receive in 21 days or less…”

                                                              I think something happened w/the 14-19th ??? I know all systems crashed today and will be down tomorrow…WOW right
