No status has as of 2/17 and says my return is still being processed. Two years ago it took me til May to get my mibey. Had to get an advicate. After I got advocate money was in my account next day. I don’t know if it has to do with eictc or not!!! What’s a transcript tho….I’ve never heard of this…will it help me see something else?

I finally called this morning. The guy I spoke with said there was a 12C letter mailed to me last week, so I should be receiving it within the next few days. He said most likely it is because of the health marketplace but he does not know for sure.UGH

Filed & accepted 1/29 have path and EITC can’t view transcripts so called they informed no one with EITC/ path would be processed before 2/22 and that the earliest it would be sent accounts would be 2/27. Anyone have this same response? We went from 1 bar to the path then on 15th we have received your return and it’s being processed message.

No movement on WMR and my transcripts aren’t available as of 2/18
Not a PATHer
When I log onto my IRS account it says that my taxes have not been processed. This is the longest it has ever taken- wth?
I did buy a house last year but no other changes….anyone else experiencing this? If it says they haven’t processed yet does that mean there could be an issue? -
February 18, 2020 at 12:26 am #4355656Kristina
Jessica go to IRS website and look up transcript. You’ll have to create an account. Once you login there will be four categories with links to 2019 2018 etc. I believe its either under record or account click on 2019 and you’ll want to look for code 846 under the code column to the left. The date for that is your DDD

@Beverly, no I’m serious. I filed 2/10 and it was accepted. My status bar showed bring processed. I do get the EIC and CTC so I know it wouldn’t be until after 2/15. But yesterday my status bar went away and it just says being processed. Everyone in here has said something about a transcrip and I didnt know what that was. It sounds like something that shows a better update.

WMR still at 1 bar 2/14
Transcripts updated 2/14 with a DDD 2/20 and 846 issue code
WMR updated to 2 bars 2/15From experience
Check your transcripts and don’t bother about WMR too much. Last year mine stayed at 2 bars even after I received my refund.
I’m a full time student with both EITC and CTC.Good Luck everyone

Filed and accepted 2/1; had one bar until 2/11 (which coincidently was my birthday) lost bars on 2/12 and amount on left; yesterday all my transcripts were available with cycle of 20200705 and process date of 3/2; now just checked and WMR has the PATH message…uuugghhhhh what does this mean?
-
February 15, 2020 at 3:38 am #4351021Shannon
WMR has updated and you should see your bars an a date!!

IRS accepted within 15 minsTax transcripts were available this morning with a refund issue date of 2-20-20
WMR still shows one bar it’s not accurate. If your transcripts are available that’s the most accurate way to find out if your return has been processed.

I filed 1/28. Status says cant provide any info and gives a link for tax topic 152 I claimed eic
-
February 14, 2020 at 9:40 am #4349873Pat
I filed thru a reputable tax preparer in office on 1/27claiming both EIC & ACTC, IRS recieved 1/28. Mine has been on “recieved” since then. When I called my Tax Preparer Today2/14/20 I was told the IRS pushed the Hold Date from 2/15 to 2/21. She said it is now on the IRS Website. I was also informed that my taxes are NOT being processed, & that instead individuals claiming one or both of the 2 refundable tax credits I mentioned above are having our returns set aside until the hold date. It was explained that this is why the language being used states that the 21 day standard the IRS brags about starts on that date. Again, now 2/21?
Im very surprised by that. I filed early, some people even earlier & we are just having ours pushed aside? This has to be incorrect right? It means its more of an issue of holding funds than it is of reviewing right? I dont know anymore. I think Im going to stop looking into it & hope that helps with my nerves lol. Anyone who knows more please elaborate. Good Thanks in Advance:) -

Bars disappeared 2/12 with “still being processed…..“ my transcripts still showed N/A
This morning 2/14 transcripts are now there but Bars are still gone…I am assuming my bars disappeared bcuz my income has changed DRASTICALLY and I am now in a completely different tax bracket bcuz I still have the same dependents. This year bcuz if the income change I did not get any of the tax credit (EIC, etc)……this is the only thing I can think of but I’m not going to worry bcuz this year’s refund is nothing to worry about. Hopefully the fact that I can now see my transcripts is a positive move in the right direction. Cycle code if 20200705 but only codes I have are 150, 806, and 766 -

Hello, I am inquiring about how do you find out about the meaning of the transcripts? I filed electronically on 1.31.20, and was accepted by the IRS 1.31.20. I have one child for the EITC, etc. I keep seeing different dates for the possible release of funds. This is the first year I’ve encountered having no info at all after 2 weeks filing my taxes. The where’s my refund app just says my info has been received. Can anyone shed light on how the process works?
-
February 13, 2020 at 8:00 pm #4349147
I filed and was accepted 2/1. I am on processing/1 bar. I can’t get transcripts because my husband is the primary and he doesn’t have a phone associated with his name, my transcripts show na. I am a daily the last 20 years, any idea when we might update to a DDD?
-
February 13, 2020 at 3:10 pm #4348799
I still have zero update in my transcript and WMR. No message and obviously the IRS has “extreme high call volumes”
-
February 13, 2020 at 2:30 pm #4348754StuckinCali
To anyone with no PATH update message yet, who might be concerned: I think those of use with EITC and ACTC who filed on 2/1, and who are “weeklies”, we will see an update on transcripts this week Fri/Sat (and not just because it’s the PATH release date for refunds). We would not necessarily have been included in last week’s weekly update, given that the returns were accepted on the previous weekend.
My transcript is still blank as of right now, except for my filing status and an “as of” date of 2/24, which is when they expect for the return to have completed processing. My refund always has come before my “as of” date. I also never get an updated WMR regarding ddd until after its already in my bank.
Last year was the same. Blank transcripts and no updates, and then a Wednesday deposit. IRS will always project out your ddd a little further so people won’t bug them and call. I will bet some deposits show next week.

On Feb 10, my orange bar screen also went away and I am receiving the message “processing”. I filed January 31 with a very small refund expected. Sounds like everyone is receiving the same informations.

OMG. It’s so hard to read many posts on here.
It irks me to try to read a post and seeing “excepted” when it is supposed to be “ACCEPTED”, “then” NOT “than”…. I think I’ll stay away for a few days….
I’m not even gonna start about the grammar! 🤦🏻♀️ -
February 12, 2020 at 7:01 pm #4347849Mike
@tina I went through the same thing last year. And I got my tax return. And it does take a minute for it to update on. IRS go but when you verify it, they ask you to verify with your account and routing number. And I kept getting wrong routing number because I was give him the one card. I got in the mail from the tax company instead of the One that I had but anyways. I had to wait for it to come in the mail instead of getting it sent to my card and it took a long time for me to get it but If you verify it and you’re having it direct deposited, yes, they tell you it takes up to nine weeks after that, but you’ll get your deposit. Like 7 3 to 7 Days Later. Yes, it’s a hassle. Worst part about it. I think you’re doing it to me this year again to And I moved from the place that they’re sending my mail to. And I won’t send it to your new address.
-
February 12, 2020 at 6:13 pm #4347804Tina
So my return was excepted in the 1st test batch on the 15th and I had the orange bars saying returned excepted than after about a week the bars disappeared and it just said return was being processed than after another week went by and no change so I called them they told me they sent a letter out and I would have to verify my identity either online or by phone.
I recieved the letter on Jan 31st went online verified my identity. And Just checked the wheres my refund and still no bars are back and its now Feb 12th. I was told when calling the IRS that it is now being processed as a manual return and could take up to 9 weeks 🤬🤬🤬 and any return that was issued a letter for any identity verification that becomes the process. GREAT IM SO MAD -
February 12, 2020 at 2:49 pm #4347642John Mitchell
Yes, I claim the additional child credit as well. The law they passed awhile back doesn’t allow them to refund after a certain date. I took a look at my transcripts and they have already processed my return with a date if 2/17 which is the day they will either “legally process” or approve and prepare for deposit. Rumour is us filers who have kids wont see a deposit until week of 28th. Most of us will see them sooner I guarantee next week some will go out.
-
February 12, 2020 at 2:08 pm #4347583sbp83
CORRECTION: I do not have the EITC but I DO have the Additional Child Tax Credit, I thought it was just standard CTC.
so with that being said, with the Additional Child Tax Credit of $752 wooohooo LOL, will I be waiting until mid-end February?
-
February 12, 2020 at 2:05 pm #4347574sbp83
Tax Return accepted 2/1/20
i do not have EITC but I do have the CTC (not the additional just standard). Yet I have the message on the Where’s My Refund“According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue refunds before mid-February for tax returns that claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits.”
I WONDER IF I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2/22/20 like it says on Turbo Tax or if it will come through this week? Any thoughts?
-
February 12, 2020 at 12:34 pm #4347473shannon
filed on 01/15/19 then accepted on 01/27/19 had status bars for a couple of days saying processing then disappeared and this is what i have? is this good or bad?
According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue refunds before mid-February for tax returns that claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits.

@IRSnews
If you’ve claimed #EITC or ACTC, the law requires #IRS to hold the tax refund. The #IRS “Where’s my refund” will update for these filers by Feb. 22. Barring other issues, most taxpayers should get these refunds by the first week of March. http://www.irs.gov/refunds -

Mine is still saying processing, bars disappeared yesterday as did the amount. Still says TT 152. Do you think that means it will be approved soon? Has anyone had something similar happen and got their refund or the DDD already??
-
February 12, 2020 at 6:07 am #4346983James McCarthy
Ok, so my ddd was today 2/12. I’ve always received 1-2 days early and with all the deposit delays I’ve been reading about I was skeptical. I used the turbo tax card this year for some odd reason. (Fees were paid upfront) funds finally hit my account this morning around 4 am. Hope all will see theirs too.

Ok so this morning 02/11/2020 I woke up checked status and bars disappeared says refund is being processed later date will be available blah blah blah tax topic 152
I did mine on 1/23/2020 but I do have a child tax credit on my return….My wife also had the same happen to hers today 2/11/2020 displaying the same message……
We file separately since we are not married
I can’t recall if this happened to me last year I just remember the path act message kinda bugging out right now..

My refund has been approved since Thursday of last week but hasnt changed since then and I have yet to receive my refund. It doesnt show a DDD yet. All it says is you are in step 4 of 4 and this page will be updated once the refund is issued. Is it normal for the approved page to not change for almost a week?
-
February 11, 2020 at 7:19 pm #4346553Nullvoidfin
Update: received notification from my bank that my federal will be deposited tmrw (2/12).
No etc or ctc claimed. By far the quickest I’ve ever gotten federal.
-
February 11, 2020 at 1:43 pm #4346153Hayden Simpkins
I filed on 1/29 and was accepted, used h and r block software and only claimed medical and dental credits as in past. The only thing different was I had 401 payout and claimed that as well and bars disappeared 3 days in and now almost 12 days later no bars, says tax topic 152 still processing. Called irs, my refund is not under review nor can they do anything till after 21 days which is 18th for me. I also checked transcripts online and it all says n/a.
I am worrying, but most likely I think this is glitch because I still have tax topic 152 under still processing. I think it will update after the 15th.
Crossing my fingers. As long as it is here before march rent I’m good!

Filed 2/1/20 and accepted same day. Received State 2/7/20 and now just waiting for Federal and claimed EIC/CTC, so maybe by 2/22 when I can expect. Last year received federal on 2/27/19. So just waiting patiently here in AZ.

-
February 11, 2020 at 1:25 am #4345578Paige
Ok so my status bar and refund amount are gone and it says end of tax filing date instead with a date of 12/31/2019, also it says check back here for your personalized refund status ( Nothing about processing or still processing) and then it has the PAT H message.
Is this good? Or does it seem like I’ll be waiting for a letter in the mail? -

I am in the same boat i filed on 02/01 claiming both credits EIC and CTC I have 1 bar with tax topic 152 I been like that for a week, so hopefully there will be an update between Wed and Sat with DDD. There have been times when I have filed and I was stuck on one bar and received my refund before the bars were even updated, so idk whats happening this year seems like something new every year, however from reading other threads they have accepted individuals taxes within min.

Did you claim the EIC or the ACTC? I filed 2/3 with those credits but IRS states no one with those credits will be processed until after 2/15. -

2/1/20 — Credit Karma – Filed Federal and State before noon on 2/1 — no “accepted” email yet, but WMR shows my return has been received. I’m kind of worried because when I pulled my return forms up on Credit Karma a couple of things didn’t look 100% correct – mainly my HSA and it included a worksheet where we sold our home this year that did not need to be included. Guess we’ll see what happens….
