I’ve seen on other sites that people in the 1st test batch have received direct deposit dates
I have not anyone else in the same situation?
I had standard filing

@ Danielle – congratulations! I’m not sure why I wouldn’t have been in your same batch. Frustrating to say the least!

Filed through Turbo Tax on 1/13/2020 (Did the option to have turbo tax fees taken out with refund)
Accepted: 1/15
Approved: 1/25 with DDD 1/31 (Transcript 846 with 1/29/2020 sent date; however, received TT 203 – assuming it was due to the fees being taken out of my refund)
SBTPG: Received Refund on 1/28/2020, refund sent to my bank account on 1/29/2020 -

@Davey
What does this mean? “If your transcripts has no cycle date, then you were NOT in any of the 6 test batches. They did 5 daily test batches and one weekly test batch. Cycle date of 20200405 was the last test batch which was a weekly. Any cycle date ending in 05 is a weekly”
I am part of the last batch.

They don’t know you’re a PATHer until after they receive your info. They’re testing the software

Thanks so much! I created my account a year ago but I never got my activation code. They claimed they mailed it to my home address but I never got it. I requested a new activation code again today so they’re going to mail it to my home address again, taking 5-10 business days. Which means, I’ll probably have my refund here and spent by then. So frustrating. But thank you again!

@DLT,
They will not charge yoir card..just verify it. They may also do a soft pull on credit bureau for verification. They did that for me when I created my account. It does not affect your credit score, and will show IRS on the soft pull.

@DLT
Go to the irs site. http://WWW.IRS.GOV and create an account. You will need your ss#, valid phone, address of most recent tax return, and a credit card/debit card in your name with your current address, (address you filed with). Once they verify that it is actually you, you can sign on to your account and view transcripts. The account transcript is the one which will show your cycle. If they have not processed it yet, it will tell you that right when you sign in to “My Account”. But, you can still see your transcripts, (account, wage, return, etc), The main one is account and that will have your cycle date. I hope that helps. Your first step is to create an account on the IRS.GOV site and go from there!

Will someone please explain to me how to see/get transcripts? I keep seeing references to them but have no clue how to see my own. Thank you!

I filed and was accepted on Jan 13th. No update on WMR, but checked my transcripts this morning and shows refund issue date of 1/29. WMR should update this weekend. Hope this helps!

We probably all fall under weeklies. In which case, WMR will update tonight/early tomorrow morning with an approval and a direct deposit date. I know it’s coming because I checked my transcripts and I have the 841 code with the date of 1/29. I always receive my depoist before the date on the transcripts. I am willing to wager it will either be deposited tonight, or Sunday night based on past years patterns.

Natasha,
If you get confirmation that your return was accepted by the IRS before the official 2020 opening date of Jan 27th then you were in a test batch.

I filed TT 1/7 and was accepted 1/13. Still at one bar. Not approved and no DDD as of today.
