      Recieved 12c letter because there was a excess social security claim on my 1040 of $1. This was a mistake by my husbands employer. They say the wait is 8 weeks for something that isn’t even my fault. Anyone have experience with processing time for letter 12c?

              I faxed a statement and w2s to them on Tuesday. I was going to call next week to see if they received the tax. I wonder if it is a good thing that you saw some kind of movement..

                I got one dated 2/4. It said I had to send in a form to verify my unemployment income. Faxed it two days later. No updates. They said to wait six weeks before checking on the refund. WMR was at still being processed with no tax topic and all my info and refund amount on the side. Today 2/27 tax topic 152 came back and my refund amount was missing.
