12C 1095A Notice

For those that got a 12C (faxed in their 1095A) how long did it take to get your DDD?

I filed 2/1/2020
Got a letter in the mail for the 1095a
Sent that in 3/2/2020 tracked it with USPS delivered 3/6/2020
WMR has said the same thing everyone’s is saying
No update, no bars

I got ahold of someone 4/3/2020 and he said to give it a few more weeks today is 4/10/2020
But now with the offices being shut down i feel like nothing is going to happen until they open up again in a few months

Did anyone read what the irs updated today?
That offices are closed and they aren’t doing mailed returns or anything mailed responses …. wtf

Tax topic went away 2/22
Was told to fax 1095 and 8962 on 3/4
Sent on 3/5
No update and can’t get through to the IRS.

I filed on 2/ 25 was accepted on 2/27 I called on 3/18 and was told to fax 1095 and 8962 forms so I called my tax preparer and she faxed them over the same day . They said they sent a letter which I still haven’t received. Today is 3/31 and I’ve tried calling and haven’t been able to speak with anyone.I haven’t had any updates on WMR . I’m so frustrated and I don’t no what to do I desperately need my money🙁

Transcript updated 3/27 with ddd of 4/1
Wmr updated 3/28 with same information
So I’m guessing I was a weekly. We only update on Saturday’s

I done my taxes Jan 27.got a letter from IRS Fed18 faxed 1095 March 11 still haven’t gotten my date

I filed early feb, and got a 12c letter on 3/3.

I have been trying to fax my information for a couple days but the fax number is always busy? does anyone have advice on what I can do without sitting on the phone for another 2 hours or just mail in my forms?

@JC thanks for the reply! I’m really hoping to get some sort of update on Saturday which will be 1.5 weeks since faxing

I filed 2/4 and was accepted 2/5
Bars and 152 went away 2/22
Called irs and was told 12C letter coming/never got it
I faxed my 8962 and 1095a on 2/28
This morning tax topic 152 is back so something is happening at least

@aimz -, when did your transcripts update?,
Mine are still NA,/no return filed. Ugh!

@sisi you have to fax a 8962 as well. Usually turbo tax generates it but they didn’t this year which is why everyone is having this problem.

@ANNOYED101 Okay, that sounds pretty reasonable. I’ll check back in a few days then and if nothing happens in 2 weeks, I will call or send again. Keep me updated with your refund as well!

I only faxed back the 1095-A form because that’s the only one I had. Am I suppose to print out the 8962 form or was that form only required if you had it? I don’t know where to get it from.

@sisi it’s the premium tax credit form. You’ll need to fill it out or have turbo tax generate it for you

@Kaitlyn I would give it a full 2 weeks then wait to see if your WMR updates. Can you access you transcripts to see what they say? That may still give you an idea. Mine is NA still. I’m going to give it a full 2 weeks and see if the WMR updates as that’s what I’ve seen most people update within after sending their documents.

I’ve had the same issues. I faxed everything over on 02/27 and still have had no updates. When I call to make sure they received the fax they say they don’t see anything updated but I have to wait a full 8 weeks before they can verify its been received. This is so frustrating! Should I bother sending it again? I don’t know what else to do at this point.

@Aimz thanks for the update! Looks like it’ll taken 2 weeks or so for my WMR to update which keeps me calm until then haha

I filed 1/22 accepted same day, then recieved the 12c letter on feb. 18th, faxed over my 1095a and 8962 on feb 22nd.
My status showed “still being processed” with no tax topic 152,
March 6th -tax topic showed back up
March 8th-WMR updated with DDD of march 11th

OH YES, I’ve heard awful stories and I was originally under a 60 day review that started on 3/16!?

@WiZzZ awesome! So about a month since you sent your 1095A form? That’s not nearly as bad as some of the horror stories I’ve read about not getting a return till June or July!

i received letter and faxed my docs in on February 17. Called march 6 and he said it’s processing but could tell me nothing further. i’ve had no updates..

@wiZzz it took over two weeks for your transcripts to publish after faxing the 1095A forms back? Sheesh! It’s so infuriating… I’m checking mine every day. Faxed the dumb forms to them last 2/29

So, I received my letter in the mail on 2/11 && faxed it back over on 2/12.
My transcripts went through on 2/28- but apparently I’m in a REVIEW starting 3/16.
But if you aren’t in review, 2-3 weeks!

Idk what to believe, I’ve heard so many things from customer service && seen so many things on this forum. I’m really just trying to take it day by day- but its not fun when you are on a weekly update rather than a daily update!
