I filed through TA 1/29 accepted within seconds.
WMR has me one bar tax topic 152
I cannot order transcripts, but republic bank just tapped my account with a deposit for $0.00, which means they know the refund is coming and every year it has been 4 days prior.
Last year they tapped it on 2nd and I got it on 6th, (Monday and Friday )
Hoping this year will also be Friday, but if not perhaps Monday. -

The liberty tax I use goes through Republic I’m pretty sure. I have tried logging in and my SSN is not on file. Could they have used sbtpg this time? Starting to panic

@MamaB – yes, a miscommunication. :) Mine says “A refund for this social security number has not yet been received.” But it does have a 0.00 for my amount and its been that way from day one.
I haven’t checked with my banks though to see if they too have 0.00 but if yours says 0.00 sent to x bank then it looks likes yours is on its way. I think I am in the weekly bunch and will not update until probably next week on weds with a thurs/fri deposit, which I am totally good with.
I used to file early and for the past two years would get my refund after my boyfriend which frustrated the heck out of me since he never files until late feb. This year I waited as long as I could possibly stand it LOL. I encourage everyone to file as soon as they get their 1099s and w2s in order to decrease the possibility of identity theft. If you file first, the criminals can’t ruin it for you!

@jleisser thank you I will check the paperwork and see

@mama, I’ve noticed the same thing with early filers. It seems when I did have everything in order and filed early, I was hung up and didn’t get through until at least the second batch. If I wait, there’s usually about a 7-day turnaround.
And absolutely, when it’s your money, 24 hours is too dang long!

@Jesse Each Liberty Tax Franchise is free to partner with a variety of banks. You’ll have to check with liberty tax you went to. It should be on the paperwork they gave you that you signed for the fees.

I’m sure the opening day filers had threads going by day four, also. :D We’re all in this boat together, waiting on what we’ve overpaid for the last year. I saw a meme the other day something like, “It shouldn’t be called a refund, but you paying me back all the money you overcharged me all year!” Fitting!

@Jae
I was being funny.
I’ve been filing taxes for 30 some odd years, I find that it doesn’t matter how long it’s been when it comes to a persons money, well, you just don’t mess around ?Also for the past 5-10 years, I’ve seen early filers get delayed almost always, and those that wait until last week of January/ first week of Feb get theirs much quicker since it’s no longer a “test phase”
Just my 2¢

Filed 1/28. Return was accepted by the time I woke up 1/29. One bar had disappeared on WMR when I woke up this morning 2/2. My bars seem to disappear every year, but have never had a hold up in processing. Hoping for the same results this year!

Does anyone know if liberty tax useseason Republic or SBBT? I can’t login in to either of them. I was able to order my return transcript last night. WMR still shows one bar. But last year mine didn’t update till after I got my money

@happyhappyhappy
Oh, we must have had a miscommunication between us, yes, my republic looks like that but also has a direct deposit amount of $0.00 that has been SENT
And my bank BBT (which is the worst bank in the history of banks haha, just wanted to throw that in) had a deposit show up of $0.00 last night from republic bank. -
February 2, 2016 at 10:06 am #4125188
@MamaB – No deposit. I filed 1/28 and about 30 minutes later I logged into the Republic site and it looked like how I pasted it in previously. I have been checking it a couple of times a day since I filed with no changes. I keep hoping to see money there!

@happyhappyhapoy
You haven’t. Have you actually gotten a deposit into your bank account?
Because that’s what I’m actually referring to, the faux deposit ($0.00), it hit my bank last night and always does 4 days prior to make sure there’s no issue with the account. -
February 2, 2016 at 10:03 am #4125184
@MamaB – Mine has had that from day one :) Not sure if it is an indicator of anything other than we have an account set up with them with a zero balance. Hope I didn’t burst any bubbles.

@happyhappyhappy Yes that’s exactly what it looks like.
@renee you’re welcome! Fingers crossed for you! -

Santa Barbra Bank shows expected refund but no received amount. One bar on WMR. Trying to be optimistic.

February 2, 2016 at 9:01 am #4125094
@MamaB – Does it look like this? Or does yours have a date?
Website Refund Transfer Direct Deposit $0.00 A refund for this social security number has not yet been received.
If so, mine has been like that for days. I filed and was accepted on the 28th.

Thank you for this! I’ve been thinking the 5th all along, but lost a little hope with no transcripts this morning.

@MamaB – Thank you for the update. I also filed 1/29 at about 8 am accepted by 8:30am (Phila., PA) and I am hoping we made the cut off for the 2/5 dd. Although I have seen two different refund cycle charts, one has us good for 2/5, the othe 2/12…so here’s hoping to a 2/5 DD :)
