1/20/16 POST HERE IF STILL WAITING FOR UPDATE

I filed and accepted on 1/20. Still nothing on where’s my refund. We have also talked with at least 5 different people who have told us different things. One told us that they had tried to deposit the money into our account and the bank rejected it (which I called the bank and they never had anything try to be deposited into our account), the next person told us that because it was over $10,000 it would be a paper check, the next person told us that we will be getting a paper check because it is against the law to make a deposit over $10,000. Then we found out that it has not even finished processing at all and there is no DDD yet and that the other people did not know what they are talking about. Waiting not to hear from the taxpayers advocate office. We have also found out that there was an offset and called about it and there really isn’t one. We also wasted the whole day yesterday because we went to an office and had to wait forever to talk with someone who had no clue as to do their job. The IRS is just a bunch of people who have their heads up their you know what and don’t care about anyone at all.

I know this is long and thanks for reading but has anyone else been through this?

I was accepted on jan 30 2016 only ony bar still dont understand what s taking so long very frustrating to half to wait s so long .

filed 1/30/16 accepted same day lost all my bars and tax topic 152 on 2/6/16 still no bars or anything just says still processing. my boyfriend filed same day I did and was accepted same day as well he checked his on Saturday and is approved to get his money 2/10/16 what is the DAMN problem!!! I have never had this freaking ISSUE!!!!

Well, if it makes you feel any better guys, I filed 1/19. No bars, no TT, no hope. I got laid off in January, and am likely to be evicted, because I fail at life. I thought, oh good! I can just file my tax return and have 2 months to find a job instead of just one! Boy, was I wrong!

But, I digress. There’s nothing I can do. I’m just glad I don’t have children yet, because it makes the stress easier to cope with! I hope you all wake up to good news tomorrow, because you guys need your returns a lot more than I do! Fingers crossed over here!!!

Still no update for today. Thought for sure id see a do for Friday the 5th. Still on one bar and cant order transcripts yet. If we’re on a twice weekly update schedule then I won’t see a do for Friday, I fear :-( hope someone posts some helpful info soon

Filed 20th and accepted a few minutes after… Still no update and 1 bar on WMR. Just praying it finishes soon for myself and everyone else. According to the schedule the DDD for people our filing block is 2/5.

I checked so much with the IRS about my return until they told me to keep my ass off and wait another 24 hours before I can check again lol but I did Check With Republic Bank, is the bank that taxact uses it still says that they are expecting my refund so I still have a glimmer of hope so if you have paid to file your taxes through one of the tax services check with the bank that they used taxslayer Santa Barbara , sbbt

Still no progress filed and accepted 1/20 I dont remember it taking this long but this is the earliest I ever filed.

WMR updated last night. Was able to order transcripts on Friday morning.

Filed 1/19, accepted 1/20, tax topic 152 on WMR, one bar, can’t order account or return transcript.

Looks like us who filed on first date of actual acceptance have been pushed back in the que, go figure. Same thing happened to me last year & took me just shy of a month to get a DD.

Note to self: you’re better off filing a few days out from opening for a better chance at a quick DD

Same here. Filed 1-16 accepted 1-20. One bar WMR .can only order account transcript. I have no idea how people who filed after already have DDD. It makes no sense . Good luck evdryone.

Filed & got approved early 01/20/2016, STILL on ONE bar with no progress since. Still not able to order return transcript. Last year I got my refund within the first 10 days of filing. ? Hoping for an update asap.

Yup accepted 1/20 can order acct trans only since 6 am Friday. To top it off I am freaking out because a lot of people seem to.be getting 151 that claimed new dependents. First year ever claiming the kids fiance has done it for the rest…

Able to order account transcript has been saying return transcript not available but when I just tried referred me to phone system to order and it tells me that their system is down for transcripts

Hi everyone, I fine on 1/11 was accepted on 1/15 and I still have only 1 bar, other people who filed after me, have gotten their ddd. I cant order my refund transcript either, also I file 1040a didn’t claim nothing. I am really confused about this. Any one have any advise.

Same here file and accepted early morning 1/20 with no DDD either. Just have to be patient and hope for the best. it is heartbreaking to see people who were accepted later get a DDD already

Ive been reading that due to some severe snow storm a week ago a lot of returns are now delayed.

Hopefully we all hear something tonight I hope I have no offsets or anything same dependent every year refund is over 5,000 as usual praying for a update

I filed Head of Household (no spouse) on the 19th and was accepted on the 20th. I’m in Missouri (MO). I have 1 bar, my acct transcript, no offsets, 1 dependent, eic, ctc, but no RT or DDD…

I’m still sitting here staring at the negative numbers in my bank account wondering if i’m gonna be homeless monday morning…

Is there anyone with my stats that has seen movement on anything other than WMR?

Able to order account transcripts using old address as of 1/29. No progress since. Last year I got my refund in less than a week! So disappointed
