          Still no bar progress. Suck at one for two weeks now :( no progress with my state either (WV) when I called to order my transcripts it can’t even find my info….. It gives me some type of message that my info is incorrect or can’t be found in the system….. Nervous/anxious/ worried……

            @Hailey2016: No problem. I freak out about it too. Even though deep down I know everything is fine. Financially my family is fine, its not like we’re not eating due to the IRS delay, but it sure would be nice to get that money!

              @alyusha thanks for the info.
              I just hope that a weeks delay is all it is… I’m nervous as hell to be honest… I think it’s wrong to make people wait 21 days for information that could’ve been told sooner if it’s preventing your refund from going through. I ?? nothing’s wrong with mines since I used my new address to file

                I firmly believe that because of fraud and whatever the IRS is doing to prevent it is the cause of the delay here. It is even stated by the IRS here.

                http://www.nbcnews.com/business/taxes/new-tax-fraud-safeguards-may-mean-delays-getting-refunds-n503891

                and based upon this IRS calendar, the IRS did not even begin processing returns until 1/25, no matter how early anyone filed.

                https://www.irs.gov/irm/part3/34760002.html

                This is based on facts, and not opinions.

                I file on opening day ever year, and have always gotten my return back in less than 10 days. IT was 8 days last year. So based upon this, if the IRS had a 1 week delay (which would make sense) then my return this year would be refunded this week. Which almost has to happen, because me, among millions of other people who filed on 1/19 and before will be hitting 21 days next week and I can only imagine that receiving hundreds of thousands of calls per day from people asking about the status of their returns (and now they have to, or in their words “can” look into it) will cause a ton of added stress and work for them.

                So to put it lightly.. If I were the IRS, I would be trying to make damn sure all the people who were accepted on 1/19 and earlier were processed by 2/5/2016.

                All in all, it sucks that there is a delay, it has me worried, i am stressing, annoyed and pissed… But the week long delay does add up. Hope this helps calm some nerves, it has made me feel a lil better.

                  Nothing has updated for me…. My new address isn’t recognized when I try to order my return transcripts. It would be a miracle if my return updates tonight

                    I’m definitely hoping to get an update soon. Looking to pay some stuff off my credit and spoil myself as this is the only time I get to do it having 3 children. We should get an update by Saturday with a deposit next week. Fingers crossed!
