1/14ers still waiting and no bars

Report and feel free to vent. This is insanity. The IRS…one job. And every year they find a way to screw it up spectacularly. I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever get paid at this rate.

I was also accepted on 1/14 bars disappeared yesterday. They are still gone. Called IRS just got the standard not 21 days can not give you any information. I’m getting really frustrated

I filed and accepted on 1/14 and got two bars today with DDD of 2/5.

Mel I am sure we are not all in review.. This is everyone accepted on the 14th.. that is absolutely insane. I have not heard of one person who filed on the 14th that has received their deposit or ddd. I am sure there is a glitch of some sort. They need to be honest about this.

This is such BS. I figure that we were going to process last Friday, but got resequenced and now are being held up until the next processing time this Friday. If I get no DDD on Saturday than I am going to go balistic!!!!

I filed the 7th was excepted on the 14th. My bars disappeared yesterday with code 152. I can order account transcripts only. It is still the same on wmr today, nothing. I have lived at the same address for 6 years and claimed same dependents, nothing has changed. I am going to try and call today…..2nd attempt. The first time I called IRS agent was rude and kept repeating herself….21 days! I usually don’t rely on my taxes, but the one year I decided to file early, this happens.

I filed with T Tand was supposedly accepted on the 14th but according to the woman I spoke to at the IRS today it was not accepted until the 21st.

Monday night my bars disappeared with tax topic 152 still there. No DDD today, still no bars.

She told me my return was kicked out of the system and sent to the error resolution department and she can’t tell me why. She said no letter was ever sent to me and the Error dept will attempt to fix the issue (whatever it is) if they can. She said my expected date would have been the 11th but now I shouldn’t expect anything until after the 18th.

Has anybody had this happen to them? I’m so stressed about it.

This is just craziness I am sure there has to be something wrong with their system how is it that mostly everyone that filed on the 14th is in limbo and has the same exact situation. smdh so frustrated:(

She also said disappearing bars mean nothing. They have received numerous calls about missing bars and the problem has been sent higher up to be fix.

My bar disappeared yesterday. I was hoping to receive a DDD this morning but that didn’t happen. I called the IRS three times this morning and finally got someone to review my return. I was told nothing is wrong and even though it show accepted on the 14th, the IRS didn’t start processing returns until the 19th. My 21st day is Tuesday the 9th. I was told anything could happen between now and then. If I don’t receive a DDD or refund by the 9th to call back so my refund could be expedited.

I finally got a hold of a very polite representative who checked my account ..i am being reviewed..i haven’t had bars for a week…so if u lost bars and they have returned then your review was completed if not they are still reviewing which can take 6 weeks h the 19th

This is crazy…for real!!! I am pretty patient but my daughter filed on the 19th received her money this morning.. TT – They need to be honest there is a problem and a glitch with this date and fix it! I am wondering how aware of the situation they are. I’ve never seen anything like this and Worked TT customer service 5 years now..

1/14 no bars and I am beyond annoyed. What can they possibly be doing that all of us from the 14th lost their bars and have not gotten DDD?

I filed the 13th with FreeTaxUSA, when I filed it said they wouldn’t send them until the 19th, I get an email on the 14th about IRS accepting refund. Been waiting on the approved bar, I checked on Sunday and all my bar disappeared with the tax topic 152 no error codes or anything, I’ve never had to wait this long I’ve always gotten approved and a refund in less than 7 days always direct deposit days on Fridays, Not Needing the money but it’s annoying seeing people who filed way after get approved and their refunds already.! I did call the IRS she said she seen nothing wrong but she could of been lying I’ll never know

I’m not a 1/14er but 1/19 I’m in the same boat as you. I’m starting to lose hope and know that I’m probably flagged or under review. Never has my taxes taken this long. The only change this year was I had a second job and my kids Heath insurance which I didn’t file cause I just received the forms yesterday. Why oh why when it rain it pours;( good luck to you
