FYI Availability of Where’s My Refund – From the IRS site under “help” on the WMR page – the unavailable times are the times that it is updating so checking prior to 6am Eastern time isn’t usually going to give you the updated information. Don’t get locked out by checking too many times before it’s done updating.

Where’s My Refund? is available almost all of the time. However, our system is not available every Monday from 12:00 am (Midnight) to 3:00 am Eastern Time.
Our Refund Trace feature is not available during the following times (Eastern Time):

Sunday 12:00 am (Midnight) to 7:00 pm
Monday 12:00 am (Midnight) to 6:00 am
Tuesday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Wednesday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Thursday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Friday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Saturday 3:30 am to 6:00 am

Actually I just got off work. I work at Denny’s. LOL we love people to come in. But I want to say it is sad because it has been not busy. And usually at this time of year with taxes going like this people are not even coming in. Im hoping next week for a big boom. So everyone go to Dennys have the moons over myhammy and a nice Chocolate Lava Cake.

I know a “So called” update happend at midnight bit it was only a generic message that came off the site, the only update I think will happen is more transcripts being updated with the refund relase code. Bars I “doubt” will move. But who knows with this year. I hope alot of people get DDD but that will happen 3:30 to 6:00 am

The WMR message usually updates when I check it between 9PM/930PM Pacific/1200-1230AM Eastern… still the same tonight.
