1/14 filers who lost their bars POST HERE

I was accepted on the 14th. Had a 2 bars up until yesterday. My bars disappeared and it says still processing and a date will be provided when available. I called and she couldn’t really tell me much other than just because it was accepted on the 14th irs didnt start processing until the 19th and to call back if I hadnt received it in 21 days. So I really no nothing more

Filed on 1/13/16 accepted 1/13/16 had one bar until 1/30/16 bars disappeared now I just read that today 2/3/16 the IRS computers shut down they are not accepting any e-files also wmr is is effected by this computer shut down Wednesday night processing is effected as well so if we had a DDD scheduled for 2/5/16 it may or may not happen until the problem is fixed

Called today and mine was bumped out of the system and sent to the error processing department. They can’t tell me why! She said no letters have been sent to me so it might be a simple error that they will fix. Apparently I just have to wait and see what happens.

Btw I filed and was accepted through Turbotax on 1/14 but according to the irs agent I actually wasn’t accepted until 1/21

Wtf? I can’t imagine what they had to pull my return for.

I got my refund today and spent it.
Looking forward to next year’s refund I hope this year goes quickly.

It appears to be random. Those of us who filed and were accepted before the 19th have a chance of being in a test batch. If you didn’t get your return on the 29th it means you weren’t in the test batch and were put in the queue with everyone else. We hopefully will see some action on the 5th. If not, then next Wednesday the 10th should be our day.

Had friends file before, the same time, and after me receive their refund already. I will wait longer before filing next year. Every year before this one I waited until after irs started accepting returns and got mine always in 9 days. I filed early this year and this is my result. Never again.

Filed with H&R Block on January 14th was accepted the same day. I’ve only had one bar since then. No bars as of yesterday. Called H&R and they said I have a ddd of February 4th. They are saying 21 day’s from the day I was accepted. But the IRS is saying it’s 21day’s from the 19th. Don’t kno who to go by..

Woke up this morning eith my hars back. Finally approved with a ddd of 2/5

Filed ours the 9th with H & R Block. Accepted the 14th. One bar until yesterday morning when it disappeared. Could order the account transcript days ago, still can’t order the return. Only tax prep fees being taken out. No address change, no dependent changes, always file short form.

This morning turbo tax still said 3% blah blah blah. Now it’s at 46%. And sadly, I was not in that group.

Yup, 1/14 here. No bars.

I filed 1/7 rejected 1/12 Refiled 1/12 accepted 1/14 Had 1 bar on WMR since 1/14 lost bars 2/2 I can order acct transcript since 1/29. Hope we get DDD in the a.m..

I also lost my bars today. Filed 1/7 rejected 1/12 IP PIN. Refiled 2/12 accepted 1/14.

It looks like a lot of us 1/14 filers have lost out bars last night without being able to order return transcripts. I was flagged for review in the 2013 tax year and it was a horrible process. Finally received my return in May of 2014. I will say that I NEVER lost my bars that year though. Just stayed on one bar even after I received my 4464c letter. Last year I waited until 2/3 to file and I breezed right through. Had my deposit by 2/15. I will never make the mistake of early filing again.

Just now tried to pull up my transcripts for the first time today and it is telling me that a technical error has occurred?? Won’t event let me order account transcript. Is anyone else having this happen?

I FILED ON THE 11TH WAS REJECTED ON THE 12TH B/C OF THE IDENTIFY THEFT PIN. REFILED ON THE 13TH ACCEPTED ON THE 14TH. WAS ABLE TO ORDER MY ACCOUNT TRANSCRIPT LAST WEEK, BUT NO MY RETURN. WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO MY BAR GONE, AND A MESSAGE SAYING THAT MY REFUND IS BEING PROCESS AND SOMETHING ABOUT A DATE WHEN ITS AVAILABLE. NEVER HAD THIS HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE. I AM CONFUSED…..

The IRS is full of it this year everyone that I have talked to gives you a different answer than the one before. I called the tax advocate line and they also wouldn’t access my return until the 21 days is up. The only pertinent information that she gave was if there was a problem it would give you a error code on WMR so I guess now we wait until the 9th when they keep saying that they will be happy to access my return, Just Great!

Same situation. Lost mine around midnight last night. Surely we can’t all be undergoing manual review? I did add the optional license info so hopefully I don’t have to ID verify. This is the absolute longest I’ve ever had to wait for my return.

I was accepted on the 14th, can not order return transcript and my bars are now gone. Tax topic 152 is showing.

Filed with TT on 1/14 was excepted same day. Unable to order return on account Transcript. This morning my bars are gone and it says being processed still also still have topic 152 up. So frustrated this year!

No fees are coming out of my refund, it should come straight to me.
Claimed eitc, child tax credit and school credit.

I’m excited for today to be over, so I can be closer to the money I so desperately need right now.

I went through TaxAct, filed January 7th, rejected January 12th due to incorrect Pin, resubmitted on January 13th and accepted the same day. Last Thursday I attempted to order transcripts and was told that my information did not match, Friday morning I tried again and was successful at ordering my account and return transcript, as of Friday I still had one bar..I didn’t check the IRS website this weekend, but Monday (Yesterday) I no longer had any bars and I have a generic message ” Your return is still being processed, will provide date when available” and today same message. I can say after reading numerous threads and information something is definitely happening I am just nervous that there my be a delay due to identity verification, I’m seeing that some people who are at this point have contacted the IRS just to be told that they will have to verify their identity first and then processing will resume…Hopefully this will not affect us

I filed on 14 January accept on 15 January, ordered refund transcript yesterday 2/1 and now I get message and bars disappear. very confusing.

Yep, same for me I noticed a little after midnight, CST.

Same here accepted 1/14 no bars as of this morning with the refund date when available. I have read a ton of post on Facebook and on the web with the same thing. I am hoping that this means we will be like everyone else and get a DDD in the morning. It’s says on the irs faq’s this means your return is under review but after doing a lot of reading there is no way that thousands of people will be manually reviewed

@Nicole same here filed with TT on the 14th accepted the same day was able to order account transcript on the 29th not return bars are missing this morning. I spoke with Irs yesterday that said that some people that filed on the 14th were resequenced but he didn’t see a problem if there was there would be a error code on wmr I think that’s what they tell them to say until your 21 days are up….fingers crossed something changes soon
