10 weeks?!?

      Just spoke to a live person with the IRS. She stated I need to allow 10 weeks for my return to process. Filed 1/28, accepted 2/11 and no update. She said up to April 23rd. I have friends that got accepted same time as I did and received their refund 2-3 weeks ago. This is absurd!! Even people being accepted after me are receiving their refunds. How does that make any sense?!?

          Called yesterday, accepted 2/26 they told me I would have to wait 10 weeks so 5/7 would be my end of 10 week wait time. This is ridiculous. I have bills that needed paid weeks ago. I am so mad and irritated and dont know what to do do this point.

            It doesn’t make any sense to me. At all.

            A few days ago, I got mail in my letterbox from the IRS.

            The letter thanked me for using IRS electronic services. I’ve been using them for years, so why thank me for doing so now?

            It literally wasn’t anything to get excited about. It was just odd. Kind of like this while tax season has been for a lot of people.
