I filed 1/25 accepted 1/27 thru turbo tax. Went thru hell to receive my advance now I’m waiting just like the rest of you. Had tax topic 152 util this week now I have nothing just says “your refund has been received and is being processed” . I’m going to listen to every one else and be hopeful for this weekend.

Also last year I never got an update at all and received my DD so don’t worry, we will all get our blessings soon enough.

We wont get an update until Saturday.
When you’re a weekly cycle code, Saturdays are the only time WMR and Transcripts update.
It sucks. But we will find out this Saturday the 22nd when we get our ddd. If not this Saturday, then next Saturday.

Anyone with Path received a ddd yet that filed on the 27th?

I am also confused by the “received” date of 4-15-2020. But I believe that the 846 code on the transcript indicates the DD and mine is 2-20-2020, which falls in place with my cycle number.
Cycle 20200705 = “2020” tax yr, “07” irs cycle week, “05” processing day of the week (Thursday)

It will change to a 571 code if there are no problems.

It just means they are holding your refund for processing. Making sure everything is good and adds up.

Mine transcript finally posted but it also has a code of 570. What’s that mean?

It means we are all not going to get our refunds until after February 24th. March 3rd the latest. But dont be surprised if we dont get our returns until the first week in March. That’s just how it is.

Well, my transcripts posted today! The WMR is still saying Code 152, that They are still processing.

So now I’m just waiting for a DD date.

NO CHANGES at all since 1/27, except transcript went from “as of Feb 17th” to “as of Feb 24” last Friday.

If I see 0.00 and “as of Mar 3” on my transcript in two days I’m gonna be PISSED.

Are there updates during the day

Last time I filed right when the season opened (2017/tax year 2016, EIC and child credits), I got my refund in about 3 weeks. Filed/accepted 1/30, transcript shows refund issued 2/23, but I got the DD on 2/21.

The times I filed later in the season, I rec’d the refund in a matter of 4-5 business days.

My guess is that they will start showing up the middle of next week. Just have to be patient because of the PATH act.

I filed 1_27 got accepted that day and have been at one bar ever since I dont have the eitc but I did claim medical deduction this year as my husband had a heart attack. My transcripts show back for the refund but the account transcript changed from na on friday but is still blank..it has the filing status but nothing else. Should I be worried?

Ddd 2/12. Thought changing my dependent status would red flag it but didn’t. Don’t claim my son no more. He graduated from college. It’s coming everybody mine wasn’t much but least didnt have to pay in. And to those who claim the credits ENJOY them they don’t last long. Hint but your children cd’s bonds out of your returns every year forget about them till they graduate high school. My son had enuff to buy his new car and pay big chunk for college and money for food. If wasn’t for children you wudnt get it. Happy tax season everybody.

question: if the irs offset number says they sent the payment for your offset, does that mean you’ll be getting the balance of your refund soon? i have the eic and actc credits as well, and my bars haven’t changed, says being processed.

I got updated transcripts all 4 are posted with 05 refund dated 2/12! Sounds like 1/27 filers are weekly if you got all 4 transcripts you may see your wmr update tomorrow and refund by wed

Just go to the IRS website and click on the hyperlink for “transcripts”and follow the link. They will verify you are who you say for good measure. But its an easy process and you can download and print your transcript right there.

I feel to believe the WMR May have crashed or is very slow for whatever reason.

20200605 is my cycle code. I’ve seen a lot of 1/27ers with tscrips updated today, but they have an 846 code with a ddd date. Just curious if anyone has seen this and if it means anything significant.

Transcripts last year look exactly the same. I do have AOC AND CTC which aren’t holds for the path act….there is a difference when refunding between actc and ctc. I am an 05 this year was an 03 transcript last year…..so WMR tool should update tomorrow. Last years show the date refund was issued was the day it hit my account on a Monday.
It appears everything is going as planned now that I was able to compare transcripts. This was my first year doing my taxes….hence the anxiety.

I just compared my 2018 account transcript with this years. The 150 code line should be blank and then it shows the credits. The only difference is that my 2018 account transcript shows a code 846 line that says refund issued on 3-20-2019.

My cycle code was 1105 and the 11 coincides with the 11th week of 2019 (week ending 3/15) and my refund was deposited on 3/15 (a Friday)

Crossing my fingers this means I’ll get it today. I also have the 0605 cycle code for this year.

I have my transcripts available to me today.

It has cycle code 0605, with a date next to it saying 2/24, but next to that amount it says 0.00 and then below that says all my credit amounts. Can anyone tell me if this is the way it is suppose to be processed.

So this morning when I posted at 8:22am my account transcript was updated, but still showing N/A for my return transcript.

Because I’m obsessing (LOL), I just checked again and my return and wage transcrips are available!!!

Doesn’t give me an estimated DDD and still only one bar on WMR, but at least I know it will be soon!!!

@Laura they tell you 2/17 because that’s 21 days estimation so u don’t call them or bug them a lot. They know it will be at the latest 21 days but am sure you will get it with in 10-14 days.

SBTPG was late on transfers yesterday afternoon and missed bank cutoffs for this morning.

I think most of us (1/27 filers) are weeklies, meaning we won’t update until Saturday. Fingers crossed!

SBTPG has updated again and under method next to new sent date will list your routing and account number verifying where sent.

Turbotax stated that most returns (returns not pulled for test batches) were held until the 27th and transmitted on that day.
The non-PATH returns should have been processed by now.
Bars disappear every year in the final processing step. Last 3 years our DD just hit the bank and we never had bars re-appear
Foreign earned income exclusion sometimes hangs them up for a week or so. The (un)Earned credits are delayed by PATH.

I am hoping we will update this evening. I read there will be mass updates Wednesday and Saturday so I’m praying it’s sooner than later! I’m in the same boat. Mine was filed through turbo tax and it says something weird. It was accepted on 1/23/20 and transmitted on 1/27/20…. I do not quite understand this but am still waiting. It says I should have it by 2/13. Patience is a virtue.

Just wanted to throw out there Eitc is a credit given based on your income. It reduces the amount of taxes you pay in if you made less than a certain amount and therefore allowing one to keep more of the money they’ve EARNED. No one is taking anyone’s hard earned money. It simply provides a little relief to families with children who have a lower income. So no path is not a welfare payment and the comment about that is purely ignorant.

I’ve never heard of dependents delaying a refund. Ever.

I’ve been claiming them for 18 years, and I’ve always got my when expected or earlier.

Filed 1/26 with TT, accepted 1/27 on WMR site with one bar but didn’t update on TT until 1/28. Was able to see Transcripts on 1/31 showing DDD of 2/5/20. WMR updated on 2/1 saying refund approved with DDD for 2/5/2020! It only takes a 1 week for me for the last 4 years, I pay for the $35 TT Deluxe not free edition.

To be honest we don’t know what the IRS is doing-so many different things are happening like last year. I filed on 1/23 accepted 1/27 still on 1 bar via TT I’m still waiting as well. Attempted to get transcript from IRS I was told my student loan account # didn’t match and I was looking directly at my statement. Before PATH everything was not as chaotic like right now.

We have never received a refund this quickly. Did not apply for advance or loan or anything else, it was straight efile.

For PATHERS: these were taxes we actually overpaid, not “refunds” from someone else’s taxes. That isn’t a refund, it’s a welfare payment. Just saying.

Update:

Both of my daughters now have their refunds pending in their bank accounts as well as a friend whose taxes I prepared on 1/28.

It looks like things are moving quickly as long as you aren’t waiting on PATH like I am!

What does it mean transcripts show direct deposit date but only bar on wmr? How do I find this info too?

I’m not EIC or ACTC, but I also do not have a simple return (4 W2s, a 1099/schedule C, kids, investments, capital gain, capital loss carryover, FICA over payment, etc.). Last year I filed on 1/28 and my my return didn’t get processed until late February (with the PATH folks), no idea why, but I figured it would happen again this year.

The AOTC and CTC don’t count for Path. We have both of those and transcripts updated this morning with DDD of 02/05. WMR will update tomorrow morning (weeklies).

I’m beginning to think the ITS needs to write a revision to the PATH act to include the simple CTC and AOTC because everywhere I look, people are saying those credits are included in the delay for PATH as well. Is this true?

I filed 1/23 and know I have have to wait for PATH, however here is the interesting part. I filed both of my daughters’ taxes as well for them.

I filed on 1/27 with TT CTC and EIC. TT is still saying transmitted but no acceptance or rejection. Got in contact with customer service and after 45 mins was told that the IRS is processing back logs and to wait an additional 48 hrs. This is some BS. Never have I waited for my taxes just to be accepted or rejected. I hate not having answers!

This is what happened to me last year. I’m thinking it will be about the same this year as well.

Filed 1/27 with Turbo Tax, refund was accepted within two hours.
No EIC or ACTC.
Last year, even though we had no EIC or ACTC, it was still held until the day all of those were processed. Hoping that’s not the case this year.

If we have ACTC and EIC we will not get our refund until after February 15th anyway.
They have to be held that long so the IRS can rule out fraud.
In the past people were claiming children they did not have so they want to make sure we all check out correctly

WMR updated with one bar. Turbo Tax showed it was accepted before WMR did but I filed today and got my federal refund accepted and got my TT advance all today. Now it’s just the waiting game for MN state and PATH.

Transmitted 1/27 9:05 PM. No EITC or ACTC.

Status showed as accepted when I checked at 10:13 PM. One bar on WMR.

Turbo tax, accepted today, 1/27/2020, with EITC and Child Tax Credit. Is also showing with 1 bar on WMR. Not sure what any of that means because I thought I wouldn’t see any updates for awhile because of EITC and Child Tax….. but I am hopeful all the same.

I filed yesterday with Turbo Tax. It was transmitted today, I would think early this morning….not accepted yet at 5:19 EST. EIT and ACTC.

Turbo Tax says my Federal was accepted. I still cannot see it on WMR but at least it’s progress.

Nice! What time did you file? I filed around 11:30 am CST and still waiting. It’s a little after 3pm now.

i filed just a half hour ago.. now waiting to be accepted hopefully by the end of today
