Filed with JH with fees taken out of refund. I only have 1 bar on wmf page but I called IRS today and they confirmed my refund was accepted yesterday 1/29. My state was also issued yesterday so hoping I receive that tomorrow maybe. Never used JH before so not sure how fast Republic Bank is. I also can’t check Republic Bank since it only seems to pertain to federal returns and not state. Let’s keep each other updated.

Also a PATHer – was intending to wait to file because of the possible increase in ACTC, BUT the IRS Commissioner (Danny Werfel) told the press that taxpayers should not wait to file. “ If there’s a change that impacts your return, we will make the change, and we will send you the update – whether it’s an additional refund or otherwise without you having to take additional steps.” (citation: CNBC.com – “ Child tax credit could change…” 01/30/24)
