I provided my direct deposit info for my adp account, to the irs for my stimulus. First it kept saying they were depositing my stimulus but didn’t have date and now it’s saying they are mailing me a check. I made sure I provided the correct info so I’m not sure what happened.

This is fucking bull shit . I been using green dot 3 years now. This is the 1 time im having a damn problem wow. An wheres my fuckin refund jus says my money was sent 2.26.20. Take the following steps n check with bank to see if it was recived . or make sure the bank n routing numbers r the same . call my txt person see if bank account n routing numbers the same. Mine was rejected as well, not sure why but when I called and checked with the IRS it will be mailed out on March 6th. I too was set to have mine DD on 2/26. I hope this helps. I am thinking we should be getting them sometime in the next week.

End of last week got a deposit day of 3/5. Nothing..this morning, nothing. I bank with BOA and I always get on the exact day.

@theoneandonly8999 So I decided to call it’s this morning and waited 15mins finally spoke with someone that told me that they did deposit checks and if you had a tax preparer that you allowed to take the fees out your refund then your check was deposited into there account and your waiting on them to either deposit your check into your account or mail it to you which ever one you choose so the issue is with the tax preparers not the irs because they did there part.

@Jay the irs has sent funds. Republic Bank, which does the same job as SBTPG (taking fees for tax software or preparers from refunds and then disbursing them to filer) disbursed funds to Jackson Hewitt clients on Monday. People who had Amex Serve and had Republic for fees had funds Monday. So it’s the banks and the banks who do fees to blame

Also those with prepaid cards like netspend ect… it will never say pending my friend gets her retirement $ every month 2days early and not once had it send pending it always shows up hour after it was received.same with payroll direct deposit… so I would call IRS and ask can they help confirm account and routing # then call company where ur taxes done online I. Store then I would call the card an ask for a person.

It’s a delay for everyone. I called the irs and they said that if it’s ddd 2/26 then banks have until 3/2. The deposit schedule is 2/28 for a lot of us at 4am. Hopefully we all get it. It depends on the last digit of your tax cycle. That you can find on your tax account with the irs. Just look at your transcript for 2019. I hope that helps.

I just called my bank SunTrust which is now merged with BB&T and they said they’ve recieved a bunch of calls for people who are in the same boat. She said that my refund isn’t their and it’s not even in a back batch. So she said it’s still a chance that SBTPG just hasn’t released all of the batches as clearly alot of us had a 2/26 DD. She said this has been the case with slot of the callers today. So theres still a chance we could all see our refund today.

I used to work at a bank normally odds are if you don’t get a direct deposit by 8 a.m. you’re not going to get it until midnight that night or 8 a.m. that following morning I rarely have ever seen a direct deposit come through during the day but I could be wrong so I think the best bet is to just hold tight till midnight

The only thing that could delay the date is if you had your Turbo Tax fees deducted from your refund, in which case your refund will first need to be sent to Santa Barbara Bank so they can deduct the fees.

You can track your return with Santa barbara by clicking here. They will provide you with the direct deposit date once they have received the refund.

It is perfectly normal to not see a deposit before your direct deposit date.

Deposits from the IRS can take 24-48 hours to hit the designated bank account after being released.

The direct deposit date given by the IRS is the date the funds are set to be released.

Having said that, you may still see the deposit on your direct deposit date.

Deposit date of 2/26 and nothing yet. In years past I have always received on the deposit date but not this year. The only thing different this year is I used TT instead of HR Block. Sbbt is owned by Green Dot, the provide the third party services for Turbo Tax and Jackson Hewitt, the bank is terrible, H and R Block does not do business with them, so that’s why a lot of you saw your refund if you went thru HR, some green dot account holders got theirs, if you paid your fees upfront more than likely you got yours, look at the consumer report on Santa Barbara bank, it’s not good

Remember the IRS says DD is 2/26 but can take up to 3/2. Have some patience. Be nice to the CSR’s you call. They are people with families doing the best they can as well. And banks don’t always post money right away. Mine posts only 2 times a day.

For those who are asking about sent vs received–ACH transfers take 2-3 days. So, it’s normal for something labeled sent to arrive at bank right away, then the bank will wait 2-3 days to be released/cleared to your account.

@Hello2020 – I have used Bluebird for 6 years in a row, only the last two years with TurboTax and fees out of refund so SBTPG processes your refund and collects your fees before they send it out. Last year I received the DD on Bluebird at 5:28pm on 02/26 which WAS the day before the date the 846 had on my transcripts. I believe it’s SBTPG is having their software malfunctioning with AMEX Bluebird and they are probably sweating bullets trying to fix that crap. Lets all hope they stop F@cking up.

I Have ADP card and my date is 2/26. If anyone else has an ADP card i can assure you that you wont see a pending deposit (maybe other cards too), it will just go right into your account. Her exact words to me were…” It could be in 10 minutes, it could be in 1hour, it could be later tonight, or even tomorrow. It is whenever they accept the transfer (batches whatever), and that goes to what the csr told me from Bluebird, which was as soon as they see the transfer they will confirm/approve and it will deposit directly into your account. So its basically a waiting game. With a light at the end of the tunnel.

@liz I work for TD bank. You will not get your deposit earlier than the DDD. Corporate policies do not allow us to release any pending ACH deposits until they have “cleared”

ACH’s usually come in for us at night 1-2 days prior to being settled in an account. They will sit as pending (or ACH notification of deposit) until the settlement date listed in the ACH file.

Hr block doesnt deposit early and you will not see a pending deposit as they dont hold funds so there would be no pending once the irs sends your money goes from the treasury right into the emerald card…..you will prob see it tomorrow night nor first thing when you wake up wednesday morning 👍

Actually I had to call my serve card to check cause I didn’t get an email or a notification and the bank just showed fees taken out and thet had released my funds but normally I do get a text lol guess cause the system is overloaded idk but urs should be there very soon

I have NFCU, DDD 2/26. Direct deposit is not the same as one time refund deposit. Funds may be available the day before stated DDD if you call the bank and they’re willing to release funds, but thats really all anyone can expect.
Silly to see a date and be upset that its not happening sooner than stated date.

Just talked to my bank, (First Convenience Bank/ First National Bank Texas) DD is pending. Will definitely be available by Wednesday morning but could be today or tomorrow.

So if you’re a PATH with the same bank (with no fees or holds) with a DDD Feb 26th yours could be pending too.

I had 2/3 of mine offset, which didn’t slow it down at all.

Depends on your credit union. If they do not hold deposits, then you could see it early but plan on it being the actual day of your DDD. If it’s there early then it will be a great day!!

Last year I had a ddd of 2/27 I don’t remember what time but my bluebird account transactions show I received the deposit on sunday 2/24/19. I wish I could remember what time it may have been close to midnight but it definitely deposited on a Sunday last year through amex bluebird.

I use the the American Express serve card and have fes taken from republic bank. Last year I also do the same thing and recieved my refund two days before my dd. It came just a little before 10am est.

I don’t see anyone reported actual deposits yet. From what I’ve read if you have fees taken you’ll probably see funds the night before or day of. Those without fees have the possibility of seeing money as early as tonight. It’s still just a waiting game.

I’ve filed with turbo tax for the past 3 years and have have zero problems. I get my money on time and the card always loads around 7am for me. So don’t go crazy if you don’t see a deposit at midnight or something.

They send the money out to financial institutions prior to the deposit date. The IRS knew by Friday morning who was getting a deposit on the 26th. That gives them from Fri.-Tues. Deposits also don’t get sent out using only 1 cpu, so overload isn’t a concern. It isn’t like your home pc. They’re using 1,000’s of CPUs on server racks to get the work done. It probably takes them a matter of hours to get them all out.

I share your concern as well. I dunno why they issued so many DDD on 2/26. I have never seen that. Seems to me that will overload the system. I pray they start releasing the DD Monday and Tues in order to avoid this. @karebare

At all Netspend users, we will, more than likely see something after 5pm EST today.
The federal reserve bank opens this evening at 5pm EST and since Netspend does not hold deposits, this is why we are likely to see deposits hit accounts today. This is true for the last 2 years for me.

So far I’ve only seen 1person actually get their deposit and he said his DDD was 2/25 thru Chime with no fees. I haven’t seen anyone with 2/26 DDD saying they have posted or even pending deposits. I sure hope with all of these transfers scheduled for 2/26 there aren’t any system crashes! I really think to avoid an overload on the 26th the banks will start releasing early in batches. I know Bluebird posts on Sundays and holidays. Fingers crossed!

Yes, the terms and agreement from my account page. I’m going to try withdrawing 3000 at Walmart then use the ATM for the rest in increments of 1000 each. It also says the max you can have on the card is 10k. Wonder how that works for folks getting a refund of more than 10k🤷‍♀️

This is the first year filing this early, filed the 9th of February, accepted the 10th then the 11th was put on hold for ACTC and not to expect it before feb 28. That message was sent via hrblock but got my deposit date for the 26th from the IRS.

You will not see it tomorrow morning emerald card will issue it prob tomorrow afternoon or night they dont hold deposits so they still dont have them so no need to think they do and your getting screwed they deposit the second they receive the funds been using them for a while it’s always the day before the ddd

Now instead of checking WMR & transcripts every 10 minutes it’s checking your bank! Went from waiting for the IRS to waiting for the banks! The IRS had to have sent many deposits through already. So sbtpg will get the notification from the IRS, but they won’t release your funds until the day of or (possibly the day before) because as they stated “The notification from the IRS with direct deposit date does not mean that they have sent the funds.” When they say government benefits can arrive 4 days early on your card they’re talking about SSI and things that you would see on a regular basis. They don’t issue tax refunds early.

I used the emerald card last year. My DDD was 2/27 and I had it on my card in the am on the 26th. I chose not to use them this cause I was hoping with my credit union I would get it earlier this year… guess we will see!! My DDD this year is the 26th like most people.. fingers crossed!!!

I have some of my refund going to PNC who always seems to post right on the date wmr says and the rest going to AmEx Bluebird who advertise early deposits. I’ll update when funds hit! Please do the same
