I just thought this would be a good place to discuss what info the individual IRS Agents are giving when we call for updates on our return.

Here is a starter straight from the feed!

I just got off the phone with a rep from the IRS. He was very helpful. He told me to call back and ask for a referral letter. This letter is sent to the person that is actually processing your return. The person that is processing your return has 30 days to reply to you directly as to what is going on with your return. I hope this helps.

Lmao well I just got off the phone with the IRS rep and this is my story: Filed 3/23 accepted within minutes still no money so I called this past Monday and the IRS rep said that they have already deducted my husbands debt from 2008 and my refund had been completed and to expect the return before April 23 however my family needs to get up to new jersey due to a family member in the hospital so I called again and spoke to rep number:1000730245 and told him our situation the put me on hold for 5 min and came back and told me the money has been frozen of course I asked why and he said to see if there are any other outstanding debts I told him there were none, he then told me I wouldn’t even receive it for 2-3 weeks from April 16th…. I’m livid at this point and asked why the previous rep told me the other information he said she shouldn’t have….. Well at this point this is a bunch of bull and I don’t believe anything they are saying…. That would out us at damn near 2 months for an e file smh!!!
