This is literally every year… people expect an early deposit and get mad when it doesn’t come early. They don’t understand they can’t go by other people’s experiences and that there a very strict rules 3rd party processors must adhere to, like Fed. Reg. CC.

Seems to me your the one who is bothered because you didn’t get your money early. This isn’t new, if you used TT and paid upfront, you wouldn’t have had to wait depending on who you bank with. Whenever a 3rd party processor is involved, you’re going to wait. You can take what I say however you want, but it’s not going to change that the only one at fault is you. Next time, pay upfront and use a Non-traditional bank and you might see it early.

I’m not being negative. I’m just keeping it real. We already know our DDD and know that we’re not getting it early because of the TT fees & advances. I’d start complaining if no deposit has been made after the DDD.

Yup it’s 2/20 not 2/22-2/23. Yall over here blowing up TT & SBTPG phone lines like they’re gonna miraculously deposit our money early before the DDD. LMAO

Once again. Stop coming on here just to be a prick. These people don’t want your negativity. Hopefully the SBTPG people do get their deposits earlier than expected. Same with us H&R people.

I usually get mine the day before. That’s with chime and with chase. My SBTPG wouldn’t update until the day before

I bet you’re fun at parties.

I’m not quite sure what you’re arguing for or against. We do still have choices in this country regarding where we do and do not take our business. This is usually based off previous experiences, advertisements and claims, and word of mouth. Based upon my current experience with the Turbo Tax/SBTPG product, I will not be returning. It’s literally that simple. This bothers you?

                          Good Morning IGMR Family!

So I just called TT, they said my refund hasn’t been sent over by the IRS as of yet, so I’m guessing it’ll be tomorrow. The 2/22 refund recipients got their’s a couple days early, hoping that we do, too!

@NaturalMe (part 2)…Meaning, usually even account and wage and income won’t be clickable and will show the na and not 2022 until then. It was NOT my first login. In prior years, it has meant for some people that they were in the errors department. But, it can mean anything, including irs had a hiccup when they ran that batch through.

Mine were like that last week..my first week they were all n/a..On 2/4 I filed TT, took the advance, owe fees. On 2/10 transcripts updated from n/a to show wages and income2022(blank) and account 2022(blank). 2/17 early morning all transcripts showed 2022 but blank…then in the afternoon they showed 846 ddd2/23.

                                @Mona thanks!

But I did look into it and see how technically the ones with the 2/22 got theirs TWO business days sooner and with today being a holiday that was Friday for them so fingers crossed that we get it tomorrow!

To topic 152 is normal. Nothing to worry about. It basically means that your refund is being processed; and to give it 2 to 3 weeks.

Keep an eye on your email in the am hrs of the ddd you will recieve two emails from intuit/turbotax the first one states that you will be receiving ur deposit soon and then roughly a few hrs later you will get a second email stating that ur refund has been deposited.

And you’re whining about 1800 dollar rent for a one bedroom and comparing yourself to families, what do you think they’re spending for the space to house multiples? A lot more than you. You are spending less.

My point is that people are throwing blame at TT and SBTPG for going by the book. The same people would be mad if a bill was taken from their account before the date stated on the bill without their consent. Essentially this is the same thing.

You only buy for yourself and generally do very little in the way of keeping things moving. You’re jealous because what, you need a few more bar nights out? The sales tax alone on goods for my kids alone could probably buy that. We have all the same expenses as you, and way more. All money put in.

And here is where you’re wrong…. it is technically not your choice when your funds are released. Having early access to funds is entirely up to the banks issuing the refund and the bank receiving it. Chime gave me my payroll dd 3 days early for years, I switched jobs and I no longer get it early because of the bank my company uses who issues the dd and I am a federal employee.

It was uncharted water for everyone. Turbo Tax blamed the IRS and IRS blamed them. Turbo Tax acted quickly and it was a small delay about a month for me. Kept me informed until the day of my direct deposit. 👍

Those who used Turbo Tax who had fees taken out had to wait longer on stimulus deposits because of a turbo tax error. It was during the tax off season and the IRS was sending stimulus money to the no longer active Santa Barbara bank accounts instead of the accounts of customers. It was a turbo tax error. It was on the news for several weeks. Affected tens of thousands of people.

Some banks release early and some do not. However, it IS my personal choice to decide that, as a consumer, I do not agree with this decision. Therefore, I am not obligated to do business with TT or SBTPG ever again.
