Dent124: They aren’t able to reconcile them with what SSA has. If you can access your SSA account, then you’ll be able to see exactly what wages aren’t reported yet. You might consider an advocate since it may be that you’ll have submit some proof and an advocate can sometimes push it thru faster. You can fax a 911 request form in to your local…[Read more]

I just can’t say for sure. You’ll have to wait and see if anything happens this week, and if not, then sign up. There have been a lot of people saying they had the fees taken out and got the stimulus payment directly.

@Taniesha: People in review with 2019 returns were seeing their stimulus payment yesterday, but if they can’t get info from the 2019, they will just use the 2018 return info.

@Deb: If you have direct deposit info on your SSI, you will most likely get it direct deposited, without having to file.

@jeannie: The “as of” date means something needs to be done on the return. If you’ve already gotten your refund for the year, then its possible that the “as of” date of 4/27 could mean that you may have your payment coming. We thought perhaps there would be some kind of credit code to release the stimulus but from what I’ve been seeing, that…[Read more]

@hazell: Thank you, I just did and yes, I have 2020 now. Didn’t have it before. I would also check later in the day and see if anything changes on those transcripts.

@Muffin: As long as it is not back child support, you should see a check.

@Becca: a review will not keep you from receiving your stimulus payment. If your return isn’t finished for this year, they will go from last years return

@Becca: Go to the social security website and see if you can make an account. Then check and see if your earnings from 2019 are on there. See if they match what you submitted on your tax return for wages.

@Becca: if you can access your social security account, check and see if your earnings have updated for the year. The biggest hold up with some of these returns have been the IRS not being able to reconcile the w2s with what the Ssa has.

@Becca: You need to check the account transcript. It will have codes and cycle dates. Codes like 150, 806, 766,768, etc. If you see a 570 code, its a hold, and you’ll need to check the date beside it. As far as the new law about not being accepted until 2/15, a lot of returns were accepted and processed the end of January and were just…[Read more]
