    Hello Everyone! So I called the stimulus hotline number and was on hold for about 20 minutes. I explained to the rep that my stimulus was offset due to my husband’s past due CS and I filed injured spouse so she explained to me that she needs to transfer me to the correct area so she did. I was on hold for about 1 hour and the rep was very helpful. She said she sees the stimulus was issued before my Injured Spouse was processed which makes sense because I received my refund a few weeks after the stimulus was issued. At first she said she couldn’t send a referral because the IS dept is not fully staffed but then she reviewed my file again and said she’s going to send a referral anyways and will call me to let me know if it was acceptable and that I should receive a follow up within 30 to 45 days. The referral is for the IRS to use the injured spouse that was filed in 2019 so I can get my share of the stimulus returned to me. She also have me a direct number to that department 1800 829 0922. I hope we all get the money we are entitled to soon. I’ll continue praying for us all.

    • When I call that number- it still says to basically go to the automated line for the stimulus. What prompts did you press to get to live person with regard to stimulus? Thank you!!

    • 800-919-9835 this is the first number I called and only pressed 1 for English. Then after the automated info was finished, it placed me in a queue to wait for a rep. You need to keep calling back to back. Call early morning or late afternoon.
